My experience with Jason Pelt was extremely disappointing. After paying in full, we had almost no communication for nearly two months, and an associate appeared at a hearing without any advance notice. Our calls and emails often went unanswered, and we never received a clear explanation of the stra...tegy for the case. This was a mental-health crisis situation, and although we provided medical records, they were not meaningfully used or discussed. At the plea hearing, the explanation given to the judge did not reflect the mental-health information we had provided, which was very distressing for us. We also felt pressured into accepting a felony plea without being given a full discussion of alternatives. Overall, the representation felt unprepared, uncommunicative, and dismissive of important information. Do not make the same mistake we did…pitch and ditch!!

Hands down-the BEST attorney in the area. I would never go in front of a judge for anything, without Mr. Pelt. Jennifer, his secretary, is amazing. There is always correspondence and it’s always in a timely fashion. If I do t hear anything for a day or two, I’m never worried, because he has never lef...t us stranded or let us down. I was very fortunate to have Jason Pelt recommended to me by another lawyer and a bail bondsman. He met with me the very day that I called him. He did not "sugar coat" the possible outcome which is something that I didn't want to hear. I emailed him several times with questions which he promptly res...ponded to every time. He expedited my court date so that this would not impact my life any longer than necessary. Then, as my court date grew near, he agreed to meet with me again as I was so concerned about what would happen, and again he went over every possible outcome and what he hoped would happen , and again let me know the worse case scenario, even though he had already gone over all of it during our consultation. He is patient, understanding, and honest. I could not have asked for a better attorney to help me with this situation. At the end of the day, he managed to achieve an outcome for me that was better than I expected and I was grateful.
