Ms. Medvin (but you can call her her Marina) resolved my case one month earlier and to a much better conclusion than I originally expected in U.S. District Court. I faced a DUI and DUI refusal (refusal to take a breath test) after accidentally driving into the wrong place while in a poor condition. I...t helped some that I had actually taken and passed a portable breathalyzer test, but did refuse a second breath test and failed a field sobriety test. The prosecution offered 1 day of jail to plead guilty to DUI only; Marina found that completely unacceptable. Marina Medvin is a wonderful defense attorney. Before hiring Marina, I spoke with an attorney who had successfully handled a different matter for our family a couple of years ago. I chose Marina instead because she actually had a strategy for getting the charge dropped in a best case scenario or, ...if that didn't work, modified to a different type of offense that would permit the original charge to be expunged, which was very important to me. She viewed accepting the first-time offender's program, which was being pushed by the other attorney, as a worst case outcome since accepting that arrangement would mean the charge could not be expunged.
