Fantastic Lawyer

Ms. Medvin helped me get the result I had wanted for a public intoxication charge. At first, she requested a continuance for my trial date giving me the necessary time needed to complete some volunteer hours before my new trial date. Because of this strategy, the DA had agreed to dismiss my case aft...er a year of good behavior and some additional volunteered hours. Mind you, this DA was known to be extremely harsh against alcohol related crimes and never had agreed to dismiss any charges. Ms. Medvin was able to leverage my volunteer hours I had completed, and used her negotiation skills to get the DA to agree to a dismissal. I am very grateful for Ms. Medvin's work and I fully recommend her services to any other person found in my situation. She is profesional, earnest, hard-working, and will fight for your rights. Thank you, Ms. Medvin.

Best criminal lawyer out there by far!!!

Ms. Medvin was able to reduce my criminal misdemeanor charge of reckless driving to a speeding ticket (traffic violation). I was happy with the outcome being a traffic violation rather then a criminal misdemeanor charge. I have no doubt that Ms. Medvin is one of the best lawyers out there.

Recommending Ms. Medvin for Representation

I am very impressed with Ms. Medvin. She is fully knowledgeable of the law and the process. She has a natural sense of people and the law, and I watched her work through the officers and the judge. She is confident, yet amicable and also persistent, all at the same time. I observed two other attorney...s come up to her while we were in court and congratulate her on some other case result that she had in another case, so she is highly respected amongst lawyers as well. Absolutely recommended, yes.

Aggressive advocate: DUI amended to Reckless Driving

Ms. Medvin (but you can call her her Marina) resolved my case one month earlier and to a much better conclusion than I originally expected in U.S. District Court. I faced a DUI and DUI refusal (refusal to take a breath test) after accidentally driving into the wrong place while in a poor condition. I...t helped some that I had actually taken and passed a portable breathalyzer test, but did refuse a second breath test and failed a field sobriety test. The prosecution offered 1 day of jail to plead guilty to DUI only; Marina found that completely unacceptable. She eventually negotiated a plea deal for reckless driving that avoided jail and suspension of my license. She even followed through on helping me with the post-hearing process and paperwork so that I could get out of the court building in a timely manner. Marina gave the impression that I had a fighter in my corner and that I was someone who had made a mistake, not some kind of "bad guy." She conveyed this through just a couple phone calls and a few emails, then appeared in court confident and ready. Marina had an excellent court-side manner, explaining her strategy as we went along, while making it clear that the decisions were ultimately mine to make. Hire her if available.

Very experienced, always on.

For a first time offender who had no clue how the legal system worked, Marina was a godsend. One conversation and you can tell she's exceedingly bright. She's a genuine person that really seems to care about her clients. She was also scary fast at returning my calls and replying to my emails - did no...t matter if it was 8:00AM or 10:00PM, I never waited longer than 45 minutes. She patiently and efficiently explained every part of my discovery; what, per Code, would be my sentence if convicted; how she could get the charges down or dismissed; and, what happens after a trial or plea bargain is agreed to. She was amazingly calm on the day of court, explaining the process and providing play-by-play in a way in which someone who does not have a law degree could understand. She seems to have a good working relationship, due to her years of experience, with the prosecutors in my jurisdiction. Because of that and her skills as a trial lawyer, she was able to successfully negotiate a plea deal resulting in zero days jail time - not what we were expecting but forever grateful. In other words: she's the best, just do it.
