I Highly Recommend Marina Medvin. Charges Dropped.

I was facing a petit larceny charge in Fairfax County and thoroughly researched all the best lawyers.  I then met with and/or spoke with at least six attorneys.  Retaining Marina Medvin was a no-brainer.  From our first phone conversation, I knew she was very different from all the rest.  She immedia...tely understood the case and had a direction that set me at ease.  She made an otherwise difficult process almost painless for me.  She dedicates 100% of her time and energy to your case on your court date and makes you feel like there is no other case she is working on but yours.  She’s present, always responsive, and proactive.  With Ms. Medvin you get superior lawyering, a cool and collected demeanor, laser focus, and an impressively capable presence.  She’s compassionate and makes you feel resilient during a time you would otherwise feel very vulnerable.  Ms. Medvin is a highly skilled attorney with just a little touch of “magic” that sets her apart from the rest.  Wether it is her keen sense of the law and legal arguments or her amazing people skills, she has something special that sets her apart in a sea of super lawyers.  With very little time to prepare, she negotiated with the prosecutor and my charges were dropped.  She's the best. The same qualities she has that make you feel lucky to have her as a lawyer, translates (very respectably) to the prosecutor and judge.  It’s confidence without arrogance.  Kindness without weakness.  She is very smart and clear, yet non-judgmental.  I would hope that I never “need” her services again, but she is the type of person you would want to do any kind of business with.  I think her pricing is beyond fair given what she brings to the table.  She’s a total class act.  She manages to be assertive and razor sharp without coming off as over the top, pushy or abrasive.  These qualities go far when negotiating with a prosecutor or appearing in front of a judge.  She’s passionate and works harder than any of the other people that are going to be involved, and everyone knows it.  Still, she’s not JUST a smart and hard working attorney, she has something extra that I have not seen another attorney bring to the table.  A type of compassion and sincerity that makes you feel like she has a personal stake in your well-being.  She fights hard for you as if you were a family member, without compromising any sense of professionalism.  There is absolutely no one else I would ever recommend (and I have met with and know a lot of top notch, terrific lawyers).  There is a reason she is so highly rated and she is so successful.  If you need an attorney for ANY reason, you want to try and get Marina Medvin on your side.  It will be the best decision you make in how you handle your case.  You won’t be sorry.

Ms. Medvin is the Best

Ms. Medvin assisted me with a citation for more than twice the posted speed limit. She was frank and forward in assessing my case, specified what she needed to do and what I needed to do to prepare for court. On the day of trial she stopped in at the Alexandria police station to gather some backgroun...d on the officer in my case. She determined he did not do a great deal of traffic work so quizzed him outside of court about his handling of his laser. He had not calibrated the laser that day as required, so he agreed to an amended charge of 20 over the posted limit, rather than 38. Going into court I faced a suspended license, a $3,000 fine and 30 days. I was pleased to leave with nothing but a $150 fine on the reduced charge. Ms. Medvin is a true professional and a passionate advocate for her clients. I would recommend her without reservation.

Best Attorney in ALEXANDRIA!!!

Marina, is an incredible attorney who is very professional and responsive to my questions in regard to my case. Unlike many lawyers, Marina is quick to email, call or text. I was very lucky to have her and she is well worth the money . I found myself in a unique situation in Alexandria when I was pu...lled over for driving on a suspended license, in which I didn't know was suspended. The charges were serious and I was extremly nervous of what might happen . Marina was able to negotiate with the prosecutor and I was charged with a 10 Dollar fine and Operating a vehicle with no physical Identification. I can't tell you how relived I was when I retained Marina. I was confident that she was going to help me through this difficult scenario. That's exactly what she did. I know I don't have a license now and because Marina was able to get the best possible outcome from my case. I am able to take the appropriate steps to get my license reinstated in Virginia. If you're facing criminal or misdemeanor charge, I highly recommend you retain Marina immediately she is well worth the money and she will do everything in her power to help !! Thank you again for your time!

An excellent attorney who will fight for your rights.

Marina Medvin simply knows how to fight for your rights. She represented me on a driving on a suspended license while on probation for DWI, and improper lane change in Alexandria. She quickly got the driving on a suspended charges dropped and the fine for the improper lane change reduce to only $30 d...ollars in less than i could ever expected. I only had to appear in court once which also made it convinient for me not to have to keep taking time off work to attend court. She was nothing short of amazing. I wish I had hired her on my previous case of DWI. I highly recommend her to anyone with legal problems. I know if I ever have another legal matter to resolve, she will be the one to call. Thank you Ms. Medvin for your proffesionalism.

Very poor experience

I found Marina Medvin to be incredibly combative and cold to me during the time we were attempting to establish a relationship. Her unprofessional conduct included yelling at me for cooperating with law enforcement and continuously telling me that she could no longer speak to me unless I paid her in ...full (she refused a payment plan and later agreed to $500.00 upfront with the remainder of the balance within several days. She accompanied me to my arraignment and as soon as the judge began to call names, she walked away from me in a move to show she did not represent me. Ultimately I decided the following day that this relationship was not going to work. I informed her of such and requested my $500.00 back. She attempted to keep the funds from me and I had to argue contract law to her and warn her that the Bar Association considers this type of action a severe ethical violation and I would be forced to report her actions. She quickly refunded the money. I'm a well educated person with a successful business who happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Holding a government clearance, I was seeking someone supportive and professional. Unfortunately Marina Medvin was anything but this. Not recommended.
