I fully endorse Ms. Medvin. She did astounding work on my behalf when at times it seemed that things would not end up well. Her professionalism, attention to detail and passion for my case was top notch since the beginning. She was extremely responsive -- even late at night or on weekends. Ms. Medvin... realized how important this matter was to me and got an even better result than I expected. Because of her efforts, I have a misdemeanor and no jail time instead of a felony.

Passing a School Bus can be very bad in VA, as there are apparently two versions of it in terms of whether a just a payable ticket or a jail-able offense akin to Reckless Driving. I of course received the steeper version of the violation by the polite but uncertain policeman. I could get up to a yea...r in Jail and/or a steep fine past $1000, I was told by the court. Even though I knew I did not violate this, I was just going to pay the fine since I could not easily be present for the trial. The court would not allow my handling this remotely, where they stated I had to appear even though I live in another state since this is such a bad offense. Attending potentially 3 court appearances would obviously be difficult for me. I did get to VA for the arraignment, but needed a lawyer I could trust to attend the subsequent hearing(s) and trial on my behalf and use skills to argue that I didn't pass that school bus or endanger any kids. Going into court I faced a suspended license, a $3,000 fine and 30 days. I was pleased to leave with nothing but a $150 fine on the reduced charge.
