Karen not only met my expectation b...ut exceeded them. I was charged with reckless driving and I have never been charge with anything in my life. I was squarely looking at a misdemeanor charge for speeding and criminal record at 52 years of age. With a cold sweat on my forehead, I researched attorneys over the internet. I choose Karin based on how she represented herself on the company website and the fact she has 9 year of experience as a prosecutor in Virginia. Her flat fee service was a little bit higher to other attorneys but I justified it by the fact she has prosecutor experience of nine years. Karin and I went into the court room where the blue paper was given to the judge and just like that I was next on the docket with my plea deal and out of Fairfax court system in an hour and half.

Karin really knew her craft, because she got me down from a reckless driving for speeding to a 9 miles an hour over for speeding. She knew exactly how to leverage the advantages I had and lead to the lesser violation. It would have helped to have a little more description of what to expect, in terms ...of physical logistics, on the day of trial. For instance, I didn't realize that there is a vestibule inbetween the courtroom and the hallway where Karin worked with the prosecutor and the officer who ticketed me and that she would be there most of the time. But, then again, I am a very hands-on person, and yet I was extremely pleased with the outcome and her work in getting it done. I would definitely hire or recommend her again.

Mrs. Porter, is a very hard working, thorough, and professional lawyer, with great ethics. She is very dedicated to providing the best representation to clients. She was prompt to respond to questions, during preparation for court. She was extremely clear about what I needed to do for my case. I ful...filled her requirements, and by doing so was able to avoid jail, and loosing my license. I had a bad driving record, and the prosecutor only knew about one of the three violations. Mrs. Porter knew not to show my printed record which would have shown the other violations. This was significant as well in the success of the outcome of the hearing.
