Best Outcome Possible

Mr. Alpert was extremely helpful in my case and we got the best possible outcome, like it never happened. I was given tasks to complete before my trial date. I reached out from a google search and heard back within a day or two. The team was very professional and very good with clearly communicating ...the situation with me. They ensured a smooth process before and during court and did a great job with preparing me. Mr. Alpert was extremely professional and helpful in my case. I am so grateful and cannot thank Mr. Alpert and his team enough.

Criminal Case in Charles County

I was charged with “free bagging” multiple items on different occasions from a local retailer. The police came to my house and I was charged with the crimes. I was embarrassed and devastated as this could be a career stopper for me as I work for the government. I contacted Mr. Alpert’s office and rec...eived a call back the same day. Him and all his staff were so professional and quick to respond to any questions or concerns that I had. What I appreciated about this lawyer is he will be honest and tell you what you need to hear versus what we want to hear. A game-plan was laid out and I was given specific tasks to accomplish before my trial date. I did all of them and Mr. Alpert used the work that I did to advocate on my behalf. He was very calm, confident, and extremely knowledgeable. Many individuals immediately recognized him to include the judge, and you could tell that he had a very high reputation that preceded him. Instead of facing jail time (like many under the same circumstances in Charles County do), he was able to show that I took the steps to improve myself and use that information to have the charges set aside for 12 months. I was worried as I am facing a background investigation renewal towards the end of the year, so he was able to negotiate that down to only 9 months so that I won’t face any difficulties with my job at all. If I have no other criminal issues over the next few months, it will be closed, and I can apply to have it expunged off my record. After I signed for my paperwork, Mr. Alpert waited for me to thoroughly explain everything to me. I felt very comfortable and was happy that he didn’t see me as just another number on the docket as other lawyers do. Before we left the courthouse, we grabbed the expungement paperwork to have it ready to file as soon as it is time to do so. If you do exactly what you are told (game plan), I have no doubt that Mr. Alpert will have a successful victory with your case. I am very satisfied with the outcome of my case and would highly recommend Mr. Alpert for any needs that you may have.

Second DUI/BUI and complete dismissal

First of all, I was charged with a DUI about a year ago. That is the first time that I needed Andrew and his team. They were able to get me out of trouble with a PBJ. However, during that 18 months period of probation, I was unfortunate enough to get charged with a BUI (again in Maryland) threatening... a violation of my probation. Also to mention, I am currently following a green card process. Therefore, I could've not afford any conviction to an alcohol jail-able charge since both process, the green card and the probation, would've been compromised. Andrew is a knowledgeable and experienced attorney who figured a way out. He was able to negotiate a deal with the prosecutor. I had to spend 24 hours in jail on a Friday-Saturday, and the prosecutor was going to dismiss the whole case. For some people like me, the fact of going to jail, even for only 24 hours sounded terrible at first sight. However, it only took me 24 hours and the whole case was resolved without impacting the rest of my life. I spent 24 hours in jail, then the prosecutor dismissed the case on the Monday and Andrew and his team filed the expungement the following day removing any trace of my time in jail. This whole story ended up the best way possible. Incredible attorney! With Andrew, you definitely get a return on the investment you put on him! If you are in a complicated situation with the Justice, play it safe and hire Andrew, that is the best advise I can give.

Andrew Alpert top tier attorney

We contacted Andrew Alpert based on a Google review because we no longer lived in Maryland and all recommendations were for lawyers that had either retired or no longer practiced. Both he and his staff were responsive to a fault. Every call was either immediately answered or a return call quickly fol...lowed. He laid out a game plan and told us we needed to follow it to the letter if we wanted a positive outcome. We did what he instructed and the outcome was even better than we hoped for from this situation. He is very knowledgeable and respected in the courtroom. He actually helped the judge by presenting all the answers to questions that the judge would have asked. Saving the judge time and frustration they see everyday from unprepared, unproven lawyers. You could tell he was a breath of fresh air to our judge. You may save a few bucks by taking a chance on a lesser attorney but you will handicap yourself right out of the gate

DWI Defense

Our family was impressed with Mr. Alpert's ability to understand the MD system, when and whom to present the facts to the different courts in order to reduce the outcome. He and his firm suggested proactive solutions for a favorable outcome.
