I must say, I am beyond satisfied! Jeremy is truly the most genuine lawyer I have met! He works hard from the beginning to the end to make sure he defended my case. I was so scared as it was my first offense, but Jeremy literally walked me through EVERYTHING step by step without hesitation. He answer...ed all questions I had and was easy to get in contact with. I am genuinely thankful for him and his dedication to seeing my case all the way through. He was such a blessing and I can not be more grateful. If you need a lawyer, Jeremy is the way to go!

Picking a lawyer is hard. You have almost no information to go on besides a few basic facts: what type of law he or she practices, where they work, and their smiling picture. When the son of a friend of mine managed to get himself locked in jail for what can only be described as sheer stupidity I was... asked to help. I turned to the two sources of information I had: a lawyer I knew (non-criminal defense), and AVVO. The lawyer my friend recommended returned my call promptly, seemed nice, and I was ready to hire him. But I decided to search through AVVO and talk to at least one other lawyer. I looked for a lawyer with a strong rating and a lot of recommendations. A few years ago I picked another lawyer with this same strategy and was VERY pleased with him. (And I picked a plumber with lots of strong recommendations off of Angie’s list with equally good results). Anyone can fake a review or two, but over 100 unique strong reviews probably means he or she is doing something right. Jeremy jumped to the top of my list. I called his office and they took a message. He called back later that day and I explained the story. The first thing you notice about Jeremy is that he is a fast talker. Not in a bad way, but in a literal way. Also he will occasionally use a curse word to punctuate a point. But I really appreciated his blunt assessment of the situation. After talking with Jeremy I just had a good feeling about him and gave more weight to his 100+ recommendations over a friend-of-a-friend recommendation. I am so glad I did. Jeremy gave me his initial feedback, did some investigating over the next few days, and came back with a plan. It was clear from talking with him he knew all the players (judges and prosecutors) from having dealt with them over many years. He knew what options were reasonable and what was not going to happen. He laid out the range of possibilities, and said what he would try and do at each stage in the process. He was always cautious to not over promise. The outcome of the case was as good as could realistically be expected. While this particular case was not big in the grand scheme of things, it was big to the kid sitting in jail. Jeremy took it seriously, and did all that could be done, as quickly as possible. I would definitely recommend Jeremy for any criminal defense you need. Simply put, he is a nice guy who will help you out of a jam with expertise and compassion. Oh, and did I mention he charged only 60% of the other lawyer’s fee! P.S. Turns out I will be using Jeremy’s services again in the near future, because apparently stupidity can strike twice. Ugh….
