Brian G. Thompson is an excellent attorney. He has so much experience and really has a firm grasp on what to expect in court. He knows the judges and is very well respected by them; he knows who you should face in court and who to avoid. Brian is easy to talk to. He can answer any question you may ha...ve and he makes it easy to understand the whole process. He answers emails very promptly. I was nervous so I sent him some questions, and instead he suggested we speak over the phone to communicate easier. He really put me at ease. Before I talked to him, I had no clue what to expect in court, and I wasn't sure what I should do to prepare. I felt much better when we got off of the phone. I was facing 13 charges - all related to a DUI and hit and run. Thanks to him I was found not guilty of the DUI, and all but one charge was nolle prossed. I hired Mr.Thompson for a firearms charge. Maryland law does not favor the second amendment at all and I was facing 11 criminal charges ranging from Illegal Possession of a Regulated Firearm to Assault Weapons Roster Violation. Because I have a misdemeanor record I was legally prohibited from ownin...g firearms and didn't even realize it. I used Mr. Thompson for a serious traffic matter in Baltimore County. I walk in with him and the judge immediately stops everything else that was going on to greet Mr. Thompson. Mr. Thompson then proceeds to greet the prosecutor as if he had known then for years. About 10 minutes later I was no longe...r facing any charges.
