I think she tried as much as she could...but I was very disappointed at her time & scheduling management capabilities. One big surprise was that she completely forgot to arrange online meeting way in advance with a Judge for my 1st settlement meeting and I did not know any Zoom meeting information un...til the very last minute. The meeting started out in confusion on the Judge side as well and the Judge was unaware of the change from in-person to Zoom meeting, either. The Judge showed up late by 20 minutes because of the last minute notification, then my STVX was unable to turn his webcam on for good 12 minutes so there was another delay. The supposedly an hour settlement meeting was shortened into less than 30 minutes meeting....of course, nothing productive came out of the meeting. Secondly, she missed an important meeting with a DCFA and I and the DCFA were on hold for about an hour without any follow-up and she did not even apologize in person. Thirdly she did not inform/cascade the important court date to me or my new lawyer so that it caused major rescheduling on our ends to show up on my court date. I had to take an emergency leave from work and my lawyer had to rearrange his schedule until the very last minute again. I realized that she did not care/value about my time and effort to adjust to her uninformed and sudden schedule changes. Also, I do not forget when she said, "Are you in dire straights?" when I wanted to talk about what I am possibly entitled to receive from my STVX. Then she made an insensitive joke with her co-worker when we were going over my expenses on dining out.

Ms. Kowitz represented me in a child custody case. From the first day I spoke with her, I felt relaxed and confident that she was going to be the help I needed. She was very thorough in her explanation of her responsibilities and thoroughly informed me of mine. She communicated with me on a consisten...t basis and always responded to my questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner. She made sure I was up to date on my commitments and responsibilities so that i could be well prepared for court. She was always on time and prepared for court. I was pleased with the outcome of my case and I know that without Ms. Kowitz's representation and assistance, the outcome may not have been in my favor. She played an integral part in me being able to raise my son on a permanent basis. I am forever grateful for her services and hope that more clients take the time to submit a survey that mimmick mine. She is truly worthy of all great reviews.
