I went through a tough time over multiple years and Shannon was absolutely everything I needed in legal counsel. I can’t say enough positive things. She genuinely cared about me and my family and I felt like we were a true collaborative team. I could be very open with her and I always knew she would ...tell me what I needed to know/hear, even if it was hard to stomach sometimes. She stood up for me and handled things when life was all around hard and I couldn’t keep track of all of the legal issues I had to be on top of. While her hourly rate was not cheap, I noticed that she was very fair in how she billed me. She never overbilled, which unfortunately was my experience when she was on maternity leave and I had to temporarily have another lawyer. I have to say that although I tried a few different counsels during that time, I was so eager and thankful when she returned from leave- none were as thorough as she was. I will be forever grateful to her for helping me through that tough time in my life.

Highly incompetent attorney. Shannon Kowitz cannot manage court deadlines, gives poor legal advice, ignores emails or phone calls for weeks when she does not know something. I hired her to represent me in my divorce case. Shannon made such a mess of my case, I terminated representation with her, hire...d another attorney and had to spend thousands of dollars trying to undo the damage Shannon Kowitz caused. Don't trust Shannon Kowitz with your rights especially if you have children.

I had the opportunity to work with Shannon on my divorce last year and I couldn't have asked for a better lawyer. She was very professional, knowledgeable and so very empathetic. As is expected it was one of the lowest points of my life but working with Shannon gave me the hope and confidence I neede...d, knowing that I was being very well represented. Shannon Kowitz was the best thing that happened to me while going through a nasty divorce. I hired Brenda Fishbein first and that was a huge mistake. Brenda was only interest in stretching it out for as much money as she could get and could have cared less about me personally. Shannon was sensitive, ...caring, and wanted the best for me. She was always available for me to talk to me or would return my calls in a timely manner. She kept me up to date and never left me hanging as to what was happening.
