When I was arrested for the first time in my life and charged with multiple theft related felonies it was vital that I find a great criminal defense attorney. Since I had lost my job because of the arrest, it was also important that I find someone affordable. After meeting with 6 other lawyers (inclu...ding some of the biggest names in Maryland) I chose to hire David. The lawyers I met with before him had noted the seriousness of my case, only adding to my ever-growing worry. I was not sure how to take it when David appeared so easy going, and assured me with confidence that everything was going to be ok. On the afternoon of Easter Sunday 2014 I was cited for DUI in Monthomery County following a brunch. My BAC was .09. I was very upset- I had never encountered the criminal justice system before and had no idea that I was legally drunk when I got behind the wheel- and Dave walked me through the process..., keeping the entire situation in perspective. He was responsive, thoroughly answered my questions, and identified some defenses to my case and a way to keep my driving privileges from being interrupted. Ultimately, the DUI charges were dismissed and I plead guilty to reckless driving and received a day of unsupervised probation and a fine, pursuant to a PBJ. Mr. Moyse handled my brother's case most recently and was able to obtain a dismissal for him. I helped my brother through the process because I too am a law school graduate. Mr. Moyse encompasses the characteristics of the ideal lawyer in which we learn about in law school i.e. to represent the clien...t zealously, the be honest and punctual.
