I retained Ms. Kopelman to handle what should have been a relatively straight-forward custody issue. Overwhelmingly, I felt taken advantage of financially - she billed many many hours for small tasks and billed for things that I did not agree to. She was seldom available when I needed clarificati...on or to discuss case strategy. In general, she had a cold, borderline rude approach to me (and by extension my children's welfare). I can honestly say that hiring her was one of the worst decisions I made as an adult and parent.

Erin is an outstanding attorney. She is efficient, detailed, prepared, and has a thorough knowledge of the law and procedure. Erin was always highly responsive to any questions or concerns that I had. Erin also did everything she could to minimize legal fees. She knows exactly what to focus on to res...olve issues as quickly as possible and avoid unnecessary disputes. I would highly recommend hiring Erin.

Do not hire Mrs. Kopelman if you desire a smooth, conflict-free, and reasonably price resolution to the breakdown of your marriage. She seems to be entirely motivated by how much and how often she can bill you. Surprisingly insensitive to issues involving child safety.
