Cohabitation- recoupment of Alimony paid

Mr. Lastra provided sound legal advice that far exceed my expectations. He ligated a complicated 9 day cohabitation case that involved recoupment of alimony. The judgment was award in our favor an amount that exceed the amount requested due to the strong and compelling case Mr. Lastra presented to ...the court. The case had many complex issues, including ESI (Electronic Stored Information) which Mr. Lastra navigated with confidence. He had a strong, commanding presence in the court room. His knowledge of the law was impressive, stating cases from memory that were extremely important to the matter at hand. It was not uncommon for Mr. Lastra to spend 10 hours in court, and then proceed to work past midnight preparing for the next day of trial. Lastra was responsive, always returning my calls and emails. He consulted with me and I always felt that he had my best interest at the forefront of actions he pursued. I cannot imagine another attorney representing me for any legal matter in the future other than Mr. Lastra.

9 days of trial handling complicated digital forensic evidence (ESI) demanded long days and hard work. I am so pleased we were able to persuade the Judge to give us access to the alimony recipient's phone, lap top and computer -- and secure that damning evidence. Thank you Dick for working through this with me and securing the result of a lifetime -- including the first time that a Judge has directed in our state that alimony paid in violation of a cohabitation clause be returned to the payor.

Wonderful Attorney

During the enormous stress of my legal case, the one consolation I had was knowing that I was in the best hands possible. I have hired two previous family law attorneys and Carlos's intelligence,experience and interpersonal skills are incomparable. I really hope I will not need an attorney again, b...ut if I do- I would would never work with anyone other than Carlos. I am very grateful for Carlos's depth of knowledge of the law, and his communication skills.
