Excellent divorce attorney

I hired Carlos after an unsuccessful attempt to finalize my divorce in a different jurisdiction. After consulting with Carlos, I was confident he would get the job done. I was impressed by his professionalism and knowledge. Unlike other ‘experienced’ attorneys with whom I consulted, Carlos was abl...e to recite the law, to my difficult questions, without referring to law books. To say my divorce was challenging, would be an understatement. Carlos worked tirelessly and left no stones unturned. For each court appearance, he was prepared for any and all possible issues and outcomes. Carlos simply leaves nothing to chance. My divorce went to trial and this is where Carlos really shines. His performance was impressive, and he left the opposing side speechless. In a grueling three-day trial Carlos effectively demonstrated that my assets should be preserved. Carlos presentation and ability resulted in the judge ruling in my favor. I could not have been more pleased with the outcome and Carlos' performance and ability. After the trial, Carlos learned about a program that would benefit my business and he immediately called me to share the details. He genuinely cares about his clients. I now consider Carlos a friend and I highly recommend Carlos, especially for the difficult divorces.

Brilliant Attorney!

Carlos is a brilliant attorney! He is very well versed in family law and his attention to detail is impeccable. I really admire the strategic manner in which Carlos aims to accomplish his client’s goals; everything he does has a specific purpose. My case involved a complex interstate custody issue wi...th a very uncooperative spouse, who did not want to disclose any financial information. Carlos was able to get me the due process I deserved and a very favorable judgement that included a fair custody arrangement, child support and attorney’s fees. Carlos is just an overall great guy; he truly listens to his clients, provides realistic expectations and is dedicated to delivering the best possible outcome. I would not hesitate to work with Carlos in the future and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a family law attorney

I strongly endorse Mr. Lastra

I choose Mr. Lastra because of his reputation in being a skilled and well-respected lawyer. My divorce case was unique and he was able to offer me the best options in moving forward. Once my complaint was filed, Mr. Lastra and his assistants pretty much took care of the legal proceedings and brough...t a smooth closure to my case. Yes, my case did end up in a trail. Mr. Lastra’s performance before the Judge was superb. He was well prepared and organized; most importantly, he conveyed the right message and presented the judge with the best pieces of evidence in winning my case. I found Mr. Lastra’s advices realistic. Because he was transparent in communicating his roles and responsibilities, I was able to trust him in handling my case. I would definitely recommend Mr. Lastra for his expertise in Family Law and for being an eloquent trail lawyer.

Call him before the other party does!

During my lengthy divorce fighting and post-divorce entanglement with my ex-wife I have worked through several attorneys, but none of them is like Mr. Lastra. When I started to talk to him in our initial consultation I could immediately feel the difference. Mr Lastra has up-to-date knowledge to the v...ery detail of the laws, and a clear and logical mind that he saw my problems and concerns right to the point. After meeting with Mr Lastra everything becomes clear and makes sense to me. He is that kind of lawyer that you can confidently know that he really understands your case and is trying to give you the best possible advice. Mr Lastra is sure expensive, you would expect that for such a fine lawyer. That is the only reason I may not hire him this time because financially it makes no sense to do so; but for major / critical cases, he could be your best bet.

No non-sense and efficient, expert legal advice

Mr. Lastra handled my contested child custody case. At each step in the litigation process, he explained what he was doing and why. When there were options on different legal strategies, he would explain the pros and cons of each. I felt that I had input on what was going on, and was in a good pla...ce to make informed decisions. Mr. Lastra uses fair and transparent billing practices, and kept me appraised whenever I requested. I would recommend him without reservation.
