In August of 2015 I hired Ellis Klein to Represent Me in a Criminal Case with Extenuating Circumstances. I provided him with Witness' Names, Phone Numbers and Detailed e-mails he could reference. He used None of the information I provided him to build any kind of Defense. His only advice? ARD. When I... originally researched his information I noticed a lot of his Reviews came from DUI Charges and in "Every" Case, his Defense? ARD. This was an immediate red flag for Me. There were Not many Criminal Case Reviews and again the only defense he ever used? ARD. I called and scheduled a Consultation. I provided My information and waited for his Appearance at the Preliminary Hearing . He walked in. Late, A bit Disheveled but ready to go...so I thought. He contacted No One on my list of Witness" I provided him at our consultation. If he had it would have given pause for the "Intern" from the Prosecutors Office with pursuing charges. The Charges would have been dropped had he argued my evidence. He will argue that an ARD was the "Only" defense but this is not true. Whenever I challenged his actions he became "Dismissive". I had questions. He does not like "Inquisitive Clients". Only Desperate and Obedient ones. I did however follow his lead. Not because I trusted him but because I had already paid him $500.00. I am now in a court of law, Intimidated by a threat I could do nothing about, Trusting he would. My hands were tied. I did eventually cut my losses but I feel it necessary to inform any future Consumers in hiring Ellis Klein to be very cautious. Do your "Due Diligence". An ARD Obsessed Attorney and Thousands of dollars you will pay out of "Your Pocket" to line His and the Courts.
