Best possible outcome for a second offense

I was arrested for a DUI, which was my second in 10 years, so it was tried as a second offense. I had a very bad experience with the lawyer from my first case (he was a very well know and expensive criminal attorney who clearly was doing DUI cases to make money without any effort and didn't even seem... to know the law and what happened at court/immediately after the hearing). So, I was very careful in selecting my lawyer for this case, and I am very happy that I went with Ellis. He immediately instructed me to get to an AA meeting within the next week before we were able to meet in person. At our in person meeting, Ellis listened carefully to my situation and laid out the possible options, from best to worst case scenerios, and what he thought was the most likely outcome. He also made it clear that it really came down to the sentencing judge and that his understanding of the different judges and working relationship with them would guarantee me the best possible outcome. He also provided me with the best advice I could have received, which was to get treatment, treatment, treatment. So I did - I completed all of the court mandated treatment before the trial and went to an AA meeting 5-7 days/week. Essentially, I did everything I could have to present the best possible case. Ellis also made sure I had character letters and family, friends, and my AA Sponsor in Court as he found this to influence some judges. Based on Ellis's advice on what I should speak to and his presentation, I ended up with the best possible outcome the law allows, exactly as he predicted. I found Ellis to be open, honest, responsive, personable, and a great attorney. I would highly recommend Ellis to anyone, whether it be a first, second, or more DUI case. Thanks Ellis.

Best DUI Lawyer

There is only one word that could describe Ellis Klein "THE BEST". Because of him I am on house arrest right now for only 30 days instead of doing 1 year in jail. I got my 2nd Dui in Bensalem earlier this year, I went and spoke with him about my situation and from day one he was honest with me and to...ld me what was going to happen when we went to court. He came up with a plan for me that would give me the best chance in front of a judge. He was constantly in touch with me to make sure I was following the plan. When we went to court, I got a judge that does not give house arrest and was looking at jail time because Ellis knew the judge. Because of his experience and his quick thinking he went to the DA that he has an excellent relationship and made a deal to get me only 30 days house arrest. When the judge called my name she was furious and did not want to approve the plea. But because she knew Ellis Klein and did not want to go against the DA she had to approve it. I am so glad that I hired him, because all the other people that were in court with me got jail time. My family and I are so grateful to him, and would definitely recommend him. He is very experienced and has an excellent relationship with the Bucks county DA and judges.

Thank You

Ellis literally gave me a new lease on life. I was facing a DUI, which would have affected my livelihood,my freedom and which would have left me with a criminal record. It would have been impossible to find gainful employment with a criminal record. Mr. Klein was able to have all the evidence suppres...sed and the conviction overturned by challenging the officers cause for pulling me over.He was very thorough, leaving no stone unturned. His demeanor in court was confident and knowledgeable. In a commonwealth of mandatory minimums he was my only hope. He saved my reputation and my family from facing serious economic hardship. Cannot Thank Ellis Enough!

I hired Ellis 6 months ago for my DUI case. He suggested ARD, as this was a first offence. He instructed I simply do alcohol related evaluations and other such classes along with community service. Once completed, we appeared before the judge, and I was granted pardon for my dreadful mistake. I will... be on non-reporting probation for 1 year, and then the DUI vanishes completely off my record. I never plead guilty to the DUI and reserve the right to honestly state I have never been convicted of any crime, etc. on work related applications. Without the help of Ellis, my nursing dreams would have instead come to an abrupt and devastating end. Ellis was not only extremely knowledgeable, but very reassuring throughout the whole process. Given the exceptional service and representation, I would say he was more than reasonable with pricing. He, and his representatives, work tentatively to answer any and all questions, even after business hours! I can confidently say I suggest none other than Ellis to represent you, in the case of a DUI. I have even since then referred close family friends to his office. I can't thank Ellis enough for his services, for representing me, and for continuously keeping in touch throughout the terrifying process. IF YOU BY CHANCE SEE THIS, THANK YOU AGAIN FOR EVERYTHING!

Listen to your Lawyer!

I received a DUI recently and received a whole mess of letters from area lawyers offering their services. Ellis's letter stuck out because it was enclosed with a very informative book about the DUI process. I sought his free consultation and, because I work for lawyers, thought I could handle the re...st myself given the information I received and the research I had independently done. WRONG. I thought my case would be simple, first offense, acceptance into the ARD program...but due to a detail that I had missed, not realizing that because of that detail the DA's office had some discretion in the decision, and the fact that I went about that process on my own, my application was rejected. It was at that point that I called Ellis to retain his counsel. He wrote an appeal letter to the DA to which we added many character reference letters at Ellis's suggestion. I know that without all of these letters an appeal would have gone nowhere and I would have had to withstand trial; he was able to negotiate with the DA and I was ultimately accepted into the program in exchange for a slight increase to my community service requirement. Ellis also represented me at my hearing (what would have been my trial) where I was able to see him in action. In addition to his solid and self-assured presence in the courtroom, he is charming and charismatic, and it is obvious that he has built a very good relationship with courtroom personnel on both sides of the bench. I know now that I should have retained him right from the start; I was trying to save money, but his fee was very reasonable and well worth the investment. In any event, it worked out favorably.
