I have been a landlord for 20 years and fortunately have never had need of an attorney. I have been through many landlord/tenant evictions, but never had a tenant appeal the eviction. I was shocked when I called the prothonotary office and was told that I needed an attorney to file a complaint agains...t the appeal. I immediately started calling attorneys to see if they were available and also to see what fees they would have. Several were not available and the attorneys that were available wanted over $1,000 up front to start the case and advised me that there would be additional charges. When I got in touch with Ed, not only did he offer to see me the next day, but he just sounded more personable on the phone than any of the other calls that I had made. We did meet the next day and I could tell right away that Ed was genuinely concerned about my situation and not as concerned about how much he would charge. We settled on a fee that was very reasonable and lower than any other estimates that I had. Ed immediately filed the complaint and kept me well informed during the entire process. He eventually terminated the supersedeas which allowed me finally to proceed with the eviction and get my house back. He also filed a motion to release funds that were held in escrow in this matter. I would highly recommend Ed. He was not only very professional but very personable as well. He is the only attorney I would call if I ever needed an attorney again>
