I had an excellent case to drop a BS traffic ticket that wasn't my fault. He agreed in the consultation that I had a good case and agreed to contest it. On the court date he reccomended that I plead guilty as the cop showed up and stuck to HIS story. Ed made it sound like I needed to plead guilt or... I would likely get points. So basically he folded like a paper napkin after telling me I had a good case.

I hired this attorney because I read some reviews on here for him. I don't understand the other reviews. I had a terrible experience. This lawyer appears bright and tells you he knows what he's doing but he seemed lost when we got to court. I got charged with a misdemeanor and I was hoping he co...uld work it out with the police but the police didn't even know who he was. They thought my brother who came with me to court was the attorney. When I told the police my lawyer's name, the police didn't know him and the judge said "who" ? He didn't understand the judge's procedures and the judge was lecturing him about a fax he sent to the judge's office. In the past when I had a lawyer for some criminal charges, it helped when my lawyer knew the police involved and the judges involved. But my old lawyer retired and then passed away. Mr Qaquish seems nice enough but I'm putting up this review because people should be careful who they hire. When you need a criminal law attorney, you need to get someone who has dealt with those police before and hopefully has a good relationship with them.

I hired this guy on a recommendation from my neighbor. I had a 2nd DUI but also my license was suspended. He told me he knew the judges and DAs in DUI court and understands how they think. In my situation, I had pills on my in my bag, but the police didn't test my blood for that. I didn't have a...n alcohol in my system. It turned out that you can be charged for a DUI even if you're on medications that your doctor prescribed. The DA was arguing with my lawyer about that and it seemed like my lawyer was the only one who didn't know that. (I didn't know it either though) I think this laywer was a nice guy and returned my calls, but what you really want is results. I knew it wasn't gonna be a great outcome when he didn't seem to know certain legal rules that the other lawyers knew. So, if you have a case in criminal court, especially a DUI, I would recommend finding a lawyer with more experience and do your homework. Test the lawyer on the law in Pa on your case and see if they know. Later on, I asked some other lawyers if they knew my lawyer, and they never heard of him. I think he's kind of new.
