I used Jeff for my divorce lawyer several years ago. He was prompt, professional, and helpful. He listened to well and gave good advice to which direction to proceed during the settlement. He was recommended to me by another family member of mine who thought highly of him.

Excellent resource during a stressful time

Be Careful

I hired Jeff to handle my divorce with equitable distribution issues. There were several red flags with him early on and I felt like I had to really watch what he was doing. I ended up getting a second, third and forth opinion and they all agreed that my case was being mishandled. I had to retain ...new counsel and lost my $3200 retainer. My overall impression of Jeff is that while he is well versed and knowledgeable in the law, he is not as gifted nor does he have any interest in doing the work needed to actually audit assets/liabilities and to crunch numbers to come up with a fair equitable distribution which was at the heart of my case. Instead, he would rather negotiate at all cost in general terms. I have found in dealing with my new attorney that there was so much that Jeff was overlooking and I would have lost so much more than my retainer had I stuck it out with him.

As always, I respect the views of my clients. In this situation, it must be added that I truly did not do a good job of getting my client to choose/clarify her/our path/strategy/tack/mindset. Had I gotten her to stop being "wishy-washy" about "I don't want to waste money/energy fighting my husband" vs. "I want to litigate/battle him to the nth degree," then we would not have parted company. I made no secret that I prefer to resolve issues rather than exacerbate problems (if for no other reason than not incurring avoidable fees and costs). She ultimately chose to follow a more aggressive path and chose an excellent shark for that purpose. I wish her and her new counsel great success since my former client deserves the best outcome possible.

Excellent Experience

Jeff was great to work with in handling my divorce. On our first meeting he mapped out the entire process for us- and did a great job of managing our expectations. Divorces are no fun, but Jeff made the process painless. Highly recommend.
