I never met Richard Shaw until my sister was referred to him for her DWI charge. Since then he has been a life saver for a few legal issues between me and my brother also. I have honestly never met a lawyer as caring and nice as he is. He cares and represents you as if it was his own legal case. In ...September I had two pending charges of a DWI and DWAI drugs. Since this was my first court case I had no idea how long I would lose my license or what I would end up being charged with. I hired Richard to handle my boyfriend's cases after 5 months of being shrugged off / being unable to reach the lawyers on his cases. The first time I called he immediately got back to me and communicated with me while he was on vacation! The first time, years ago a friend I was with was shoplifting and I had no idea. After I cashed out & paid for my things I was taken with my friend and... arrested for shoplifting since we walked out of the store together. I hired Mr. Shaw and he got all my charges dropped and off my record. A few months ago I had a bench warrant for not paying my fine, and also for not completing 75 hours of community service that I was supposed to pay and complete over a year ago. Not a good situation seeing as it has been so long and judges hate that! I again hired Mr. Shaw he called the detective that put the warrant out for me and arranged a date that was good for myself to go turn myself in. He met me at the police station, and waited in the court room for me. I got off with only a fine and a few hours of community service. I'll be honest I should have been arrested and I should have either went to jail or post bail and get a much worse punishment! Richard Shaw is the best! I recently got into a bit of trouble on a trip to Buffalo. I hadn't been in trouble with the law in I'm not sure how many years. I can't even recall the last time I got a traffic violation.
