I hired Aronow Law to modify my loan with Wells Fargo (not the easiest lender to deal with.) Although the process takes some time, I cannot recommend them enough. My wife filled out an online ad asking for help with our home. I was in danger of losing my home to foreclosure. I saw an ad stating mortgage help and called the number listed. I spoke to Howard Leeds. He explained the fees and terms and I hired the firm. During the initial process Howard was always available to answer any of my questions and provide piece of mind to me. Once the paperwork process was started I worked with Malini Seepersaud. Malini was also pleasant to work with. She was VERY helpful and courteous throughout the process. She explained what the paperwork was stating in laymens terms so that I could understand. She made sure that all of my "t's" were crossed and my "i's" dotted. She even stopped the daily lender calls to my place of employment. Malini was also available to answer any questions or concerns I had during the process. She even verified that my payments were received by the lender, due to the lender sending me statements with differing amounts owed. Malini, Howard and Navita alleviated the stress I was feeling during the process by answering any questions I had, explaining what was happening during the process. This was a scary situation for me initially but the staff at Aronow law proved to me through their actions and professional demeanor that I was not alone during this crisis and that it could be resolved in a satisfactory manner to all parties. The staff was empathic to the medical issue that caused my initial hardship and inquired to my health during the process. That was not a requirement I'm sure, but it made me feel as if I had a friend helping me through the process instead of just some hired help. I decided to enlist the help of Aronow Law a few months back after we negotiated a loan mod on our own that left us with terrible terms. Our payment actually increased $200 a month and the terms went from 30 to 40 years. It was well worth hiring them. Jim Golluscio and Lisa Sutera are wonderful. ...They took their time to explain the process. All phone calls and information to us was sent out timely and the follow up is great.
