Saved me from Foreclosure

I received a letter from Ronald D. Weiss, P.C. in the mail less than 10 days before the scheduled auction on my home. Before retaining Mr. Weiss to file a chapter 7 bankruptcy, I was having a lot of difficulty with my mortgage company. I had tried speaking with the mortgage company’s representatives ...as well as the legal aids at Mineola Supreme Courthouse where the auction notice was filed and still never understood my rights or the options available to me until I spoke with Ronald Weiss. Because of retaining his services, the sale was cancelled/postponed immediately and the filing gave me 6 months to resolve/restructure my situation. The matter was dealt with perfectly, smoothly, and granted me a stress-free resolution from the initial consultation to the final filing. Every phone call, fax, email and in-person meeting including the court appearance was handled in a courteous and professional manner. There was never a lapse in response, the staff returning every single one of my calls and emails. Particularly, Ronald and his staff was kind and respectful in explaining my options and in representing my interests. They never made me feel guilty or like a failure for the situation I was in. No one buys a home expecting to face foreclosure. I strongly recommend Ronald D. Weiss P.C. to anyone being threatened with Foreclosure. The two most important things I want to tell other facing foreclosure/eviction: 1. Ronald Weiss is honest, reputable, trustworthy, and very experienced. (You get all kinds of unsolicited offers and many are scams to pray on people in desperate situations.) 2. I realize it may be hard to believe but once you pay Ronald D. Weiss, you can relax and then focus on repairing your credit and either saving your home or moving 5-6 months from now, under less stressful conditions with a plan for the future.

Bankruptcy is no problem.

After having a lot of financial ups and downs, I realized that i had to do something about or I was in fear of losing my house. I am glad came to hire Ronald D. Weiss, P.C.. Mr. Weiss was able to counsel me about my options. After clearly explaining the bankruptcy process, I filed a chapter 7 bankrup...tcy and was able to get hold of my finances and actually modify my home loan! His responsive staff communicated with me what was needed and made the process painless. Thank you!

Chapter 7 Filing

I have used Ronald Weiss for several matters and found him to be friendly, knowledgeable and affordable. After my Dad had passed there was not enough income to support my house or my bills. Ron filed a Chapter 7 case to eliminate the debt and to stop the foreclosure sale. Now we are working on an Ord...er to Show Cause to try to dismiss the foreclosure action based on several irregularities. In a down to earth but serious manner he has always been supportive of my situation and understanding of my difficulties. Visiting his office has always been a nice experience.

Help with Severe Financial Hardship

I am a former client of Ronald D. Weiss for a Chapter 13 case and a current client for a Chapter 7 case. I first heard about his office and their services through an informative mail solicitation. At that time I was dealing with severe financial hardship-mostly with keeping up with my mortgage paymen...ts. The bank was attempting to foreclose on my home, having already designated a sale date. I knew I had very little time for any course of action. Ronald D. Weiss advised on several options available to me. The law office of Ronald D. Weiss not only dealt with my matter as I had hoped, but they handled my issues professionally. What I liked the most about my experience was the overall efficiency of his office, as his staff were prompt in their correspondence. I would not hesitate in recommending Ronald D. Weiss’ legal services, in fact I have already referred many of my friends and family.

Chapter 7 Bankruptcy

We had a good experience in a Chapter 7 bankruptcy case where Ronald Weiss represented my wife and myself. We needed to get relief from lots of business and personal debt. We were very anxious but felt calm the moment we sat down with Ron. We feel unburdened and lighter on our feet.
