My case involved extreme duress stemming from severe domestic abuse—complexities within a dynamic that I am not sure our legal system is fully equipped to comprehend. I cannot concisely verbalize the intricacy of what I was facing. Facing criminal charges while dealing with active abuse and trauma left my nervous system completely fried. Excellent criminal defense lawyer!

Mr. Monroe is a knowledgeable lawyer who knows the "in's and out's" of the system. He is confident in the court room and is well respected in his community. He personally gives extra attention to details of the case and is in constant communication with his client. When my husband and I hired him for... our case he made us feel at ease from the beginning that everything was going to be ok. In the end everything was exactly that! Amazing!

The only defense lawyer who is in New York worth calling. I had a conversation with Jim directly, and he provided extremely clear directions and security. I needed to know something at 10:30 pm and texted and received a phone call that provided an answer to any question I could come up with.
