I received a speeding ticket in Queens on 6/9/13 on the LIE near Springfield Blvd. I was clocked at 71 in a 50 which meant 6 points on my license if I pled or was found guilty in TVB court. I am a CDL driver. 6 points on your license is virtually a death kneel in the commercial driving industry, no...t to mention I would be on the drivers assement program for the next 3 years with the DMV which meant additional significant fees for 3 years in addition to the charge of the ticket itself . When I hired Mr.Palumbo he was very upfront and honest and explained to me how there was no plea bargaining with tickets issued in NYC, in other words you either are found guilty or not guilty. He did tell me there was a chance he can possibly get it reduced to 20 mph over the limit instead of 21 mph over the limit, which would only be 4 points and I would have avoided the drivers assessment program, but even getting it down to the 20 mph over the limit was not guaranteed. My case was heard at TVB court 5/20/15, which because he represented me meant I did not have to take off work to attend. Results? i received an email the next day from his office stating I was found not guilty and the ticket was dismissed, in other words I won. Ahhhhhhhhhh what a wonderful feeling reading that email.I was just hoping he was able to get it down to 20mph over the limit and 4 points but instead won the ticket completely. Mr. Palumbo was honest and made no promises, yet performed wonderfully. The best trait people and companies can have is under promising and over performing and that is exactly what Mr.Palumbo did. I received a ticket in in a small town in Orange County NY. The town has a reputation has a speed trap, but my ticket was for a lane change without proper signaling.
