Straight Talker

When I read Mr. Palumbo's biography, what impressed me most was his straight talk of letting you know that this garbage that other attorneys will make you believe i.e knowing the judge, the D.A and that they're in the court room everyday would be of great help to you was absolute nonsense. He didn't ...tell me what I wanted to hear but what I knew from experience is a fact. He simple goes about his duties and gets the job done, he owns no one favors in the courthouse. I had two moving violations that were dismissed. I highly recommend if you're looking for a no nonsense attorney to call his office. He gets you results!

It's like insurance. You hope to never need it, but glad to know it's there!

Michael Palumbo and associates are excellent at their craft of handling traffic ticket matters on behalf of their clients. While we all aim to stay within the limits of traffic rules, chances are that situations will arise where a traffic stop is unjustified or the stated infraction contradicts the a...ctual events. I should know, because two such events have happened to me and I contacted Michael Palumbo on both occasions. In each instance, the initial conversation with Mr. Palumbo to convey the details of the incident are a mix of business and humor; serving to reduce any tension a client may have concerning the matter. While no promises are made concerning the outcome, by the end of the call one is left with the assurance that the matter is in capable hands. The office staff is prompt in following-up with the required paperwork exchange and communicates the timeline reasonably well. Bottom line, I called Michael Palumbo on two separate occasions, was highly satisfied with the outcome and would unreservedly recommend his services to anyone in similar situations. While I hope to NOT require his services any time soon, I’m certainly glad that Michael Palumbo is a just a phone call away.

What Did I Get For $600.00???

Well Let me tell ya! I got a speeding ticket in VT... (85 MPH in a 65 MPH Zone) and they had me by all rights 100%. I have a Company car & my Employer not only frowns on traffic violations, in some cases TERMINATION can happen, doesn't matter how good you are at your job, how many $1,000.00's of doll...ars you make them. A 20 over speed can add you to the unemployment line! I searched for some help, (I live in NH & had to go to VT for work) I goggled Attorneys spoke to 3, I begged for help & the generic response was "$1,200.00 - $1,400.00 and I can't promise anything..." Then I found "AttackThatTicket.Com & after looking at the site 4 different times I called, and I got the same line, "We can't make any promises, it's a $600.00 flat fee and you DO NOT NEED TO GO TO COURT! We will work the best possible deal we can for you. Maybe we can make it an expensive parking ticket to help you with your job." So I bit the bullet & sent my $600.00 bucks in and that was that, I didn't hear from them, in-fact I called the day before, asking if they were going to court, I was told "of coarse we are" Well 2 or 3 days after the Court date I had an e-mail from the office.... I was sweatin' it out wondering what the damages are, will I get fired? Was it worth the $600.00 bucks? I opened the e-mail & I had to read it TWICE! It read, "We took your Vermont ticket to trial on December 18, 2014. However prior to trial we made an application to dismiss and it was granted, In other words you won. You need to do nothing more the case is over. WOW !!!!!!! If you're questioning if this is real or they have a good way of getting things done, Well my advise go with AttackThatTicket.Com!!! I'm still in dis-belief. It was the right choice! Thank You Michael!!!!

Responsive, Communicative but Not Impressed with His Efforts

I received a 4-point speeding ticket after being charged with going over 70 mph in a 55 mph zone in New York State. Immediately, I plead not guilty and began researching traffic ticket-specific attorneys and was very impressed with Mr. Palumbo, his track record and reviews from others who were charg...ed with similar violations. I hired Mr. Palumbo for his flat fee of $495 with no guarantees expected. Cripes...his firm even goes to court on your behalf to fight your ticket! Or so I thought. Less than a week before my pre-trial date, I received a notice that my ticket issue was resolved and that he had plead guilty on my behalf for a measly 1-point reduction. So my ticket ended up being a violation of running a stop sign with a 3-point penalty. Countless others with the same 4-point charge on this site were left with a 2-point charge or had their points dropped to zero as Mr. Palumbo told me he could do. Although Mr. Palumbo was very professional and responsive, I was expecting him or one of the other firm's attorneys to fight their hardest and actually go to court for me to get the "best possible outcome," in his own words. Several other attorneys could have plead guilty through mail on my behalf for a lot less money with the same outcome, but I hired him specifically with the expectation of the firm showing up to court and using his cross examination of an officer techniques in the 2007 periodical to which he contributed. Honestly, he did not fight as hard as he could have, in my opinion, for the money. Overall, I would not recommend him.

This comment is the very reason why people should retain counsel - to protect themselves from themselves. What this former client does not understand is as follows: Yes, while we did plead him guilty for a 1 point reduction we plead him guilty to a 3 point NON-SPEEDING ticket. This was a great outcome although not seemingly so, because we got him a conviction OUT OF SPEED. That is always the exigency in a speeding ticket case to get the client out of speed, because speeding causes amplifying problems on ones driving record. What this former client did not tell you, because he does not understand the significance of it, was that in the past 18 months he 1 prior speeding conviction. Once a person receives 3 speeding convictions in an 18 month period his NYS license or privileges are revoked. So had I turned this offer down I would have risked having my client found guilty of a speeding ticket, and then if he had received another one and been found guilty he would have lost his license. In this case, we acted in the most prudent way possible. Our clients insurance did not go up and he is not in danger of losing his NYS driver's license or privileges if he gets a speeding conviction in the future. Moreover, we saved our client time and money by getting his personal appearance waived from court. All and all, this client benefited greatly from the service.
