Tough divorce that was not as uncontested as I thought it would be. After months of back and forth with my ex I finally got the papers signed and submitted. As soon as they received the papers they sent me e-mail confirming receipt. Great communication. I needed a change made and they made the change... no extra charge. I didn't feel nickel and dimed. It took longer than expected due to the courts going on vacation during the summer months. They were very patient with me as I called every week or two to check on the status. I handled my divorce from some distance with this firm. My divorce, initially estimated at 3-4 months, will end up taking just over a year. I was told this was due to backup in the NY courts due to Hurricane Katrina. I never received the initial papers that were to have been sent by postal mail servi...ce to sign and return, only by email.
