I found Mr. Slack through his website, which states he offers free consultations and gave a brief overview of my claim. Mr. Slack then responded asking, if my pay wasn't reduced "what is this claim for?" and "How would I be compensated if there is no money involved?" While both these concerns are com...pletely understandable, I found his attitude to be extremely condescending when the purpose of seeking an attorney was to see if I have a claim and/or if money could be involved, given that I am not an employment attorney. Perhaps Mr. Slack is a good attorney when hired, but from my brief experience while seeking a consultation, I cannot recommend him.

The other one star reviews are 100% accurate. He is a vile human being and is fake nice at first only to turn on you once he thinks your case isn’t worth millions. He pawns you off on junior staffers who are just as incompetent. He expects clients to write their own complaints! I’m not a lawyer! Mess...ed up my entire case and I walked away with nothing.

I wish that I could give him ZERO stars. All bark and no bite. Total unprofessional, would cancel appointments while I was on the subway on my way to his office. He pawns you off on junior lawyers in the office as he's too busy vacationing around the world. Does not stick to deadlines and makes y...ou CHASE after him for answers. He is rude, dishonest, and unprofessional. All talk. Be promised big compensation and delivered NOTHING. Wish that I could get that time back and scrub him from my memory.

Sack is a big talker but ultimately doesn't deliver. He took a case on contingency then let it languish for over a year with no progress. When I pushed to move it forward he demanded a retainer as a condition completely disregarding the original agreement. Though his website states he handles matters... personally he not only handed off my matter to a very rude and ineffective associate but insisted I draft a significant portion of the complaint that he never filed. I have no confidence in this man
