When I first contacted Katie, I was dealing with a very unique situation. I was being threatened with UCMJ action over a security clearance matter. The Cherkasky's are civilians and can do way more than the military defense councel can or will. I cannot count how many times my leadership tried messing with me, only to get a phone call from Katie and completely change their directon. Not only that but the rebuttals Katie writes are out of this world. My First Sergeant actually asked me, "Where'd you find these Cherkasky's?" He proceeded to tell me that Katie called him about leave (that was going to be denied) that I requested. And that she bust out an AFI over the phone and had him confused. After she got off the phone with him, I recieved a phone call from my supervisor who said I could take leave and that it was approved. Katie didn't even tell me she did that, all she said was that she took care of it. She is a BOSS and they HUSTLE THE GAME. Please hire the Cherkasky's if you are facing any kind of punishment from any branch in the military.

After meeting with the on base Area Defense Counsel I quickly realized I was going to need more help than that office could provide. Katie and Andrew Cherkasky were on the phone with me within hours of me reaching out and quickly started advising me of my different options. I ultimately decided to ...accept and Article 15 forum over court martial. Initially, I wondered if paying for legal advice for responding to an Article 15 would be worth it.
