Way Amazing Attorney

I thought I was prepared for every situation in life until that morning i wake-up & needed an attorney. I wasn't familiar with the law. I didn't know my legal rights. I contacted Julie Rendelman after friends told me she was the best person to consult with about my situation. Laws are sometimes diffi...cult to understand during the consultation Julie was able to translate the law & my rights to me in language that I could understand. She explained my legal options to me & helped me decide on a comprehensive plan to resolve my case. Julie worked with my schedule you can't always plan in advance for every situation. Would Highly Recommend

I was arrested for shoplifting. This is ordinarily a simple defense, but in my case, it was complicated because I work in a Federally regulated industry and I am in the US under a work visa. Julie was able to get the charges dismissed. Usually this would occur under an ACD, whereby the court d...isposition would show that I did community service and the records would be sealed after 6 months. Julie recommended that I did community service prior to meeting with the prosecutor. As a result, my court disposition only states "dismissed in the interest of justice." In addition, Julie was able to get the charges sealed within two weeks, must faster than the traditional 6 month waiting period. Both of these accomplishments (no community service on the court disposition and early sealing of the charges) is highly highly unusual and speaks to Julie's capabilities as a criminal defense attorney and her contacts within the criminal justice system. Apart from being an extraordinary defense attorney, Julie is patient and responsive. As someone who has been charged with a crime knows, it is a stressful time and one has many questions. Julie took the time to answer every one of my numerous questions and never made me feel like I was an unimportant client. If you find yourself in the unfortunately position of needing a criminal defense, I would highly recommend Julie Rendelman as your representative.

Kind and responsive

I wrote a brief description of my situation to Julie, and she called me back within 10 minutes! During the conversation she was patient, kind, and explained things very well. Although it turns out I cannot use her services just now, she would definitely be my top pick if I ever needed an attorney!

Best Criminal Defense Attorney in NYC

I am forever grateful of Julie and how she fought to win my case. I was extremely lucky to find Julie Rendelman through Avvo and other reliable websites (google and yelp) which all had 100% positive reviews (it's true!). This gave me a positive feeling and immediately called her right away the day be...fore Thanksgiving. On that call, she was very patient to answer all my questions and welcomed me to meet at her office to extend our conversation without a paying a consultation fee. Her communication skills are excellent and will explain how the judicial system all works. Already my anxiety level was high and every time I spoke with Julie she would calm me down by giving me rationale advice and facts about my rights. Julie is a competent lawyer who's had more complex cases than mine, however, she didn't take the case less seriously. My case needed to be expedited for a hearing as well as sealing the case sooner than 6months . When I met Julie, she honored my request and fought hard for a positive outcome as well as sealing the case in under two months. Also, this was all around christmas time which is the most hectic time of the year. If I didn't have Julie and Kristen her associate that helped on the case who knows what the outcome would have been... but I do know I would have still been waiting until late spring to have my case heard. I am so relieved that I don't have the stress or the record. Therefore, I am forever thankful for their strong work ethics and professionalism.

Julie saved my life

Julie is just wonderful and I would recommend her to anyone. I was an international student of 21 years facing charges for grand larceny in the 4th degree. A conviction for these charges would not only end my career but would result in deportation and further inadmissibility to the United States/Cana...da. I was unsatisfied with my gov. provided attorney so I did some research and came accross Julie's name. I gave her a call, she was home taking care of her kids yet she still gave me 50 minutes of her time free of any charge. I then met with her in person, and at every point she made me feel like she was the one who would fight to make this stupid young mistake I made go away. With Julie's expertises and professionalisms, I found her fees to be extremely reasonable. Since I was a student and did not have the money upfront, she agreed to enter a payment plan that allowed me to retain her as my attorney. During the whole process, Julie was always responsive, transperent, and more than anything, she was a friend. She never judged me for my stupid mistake, and she was geniunly invested in helping me get over this and continue with my regular life. After negotiations with the DA, Julie got the criminal charges Grand Larceny charges dismissed and instead I pleaded guilty to a 240.20 dissorderly conduct violation with a 1yr conditional discharge (which means after 1 year even the violation will be removed from my public record). Not only was I able to avoid jail time and a criminal record, I was also able to remain legally within the country. Hiring Julie as an attorney was the best decision I could have made. She still checks in to see how I am doing and I know that at any point in my life, I can count with her. I hope you do to, because no matter what you are facing, Julie will fight for you. -M
