The best possible outcome!

My minor stepson got in a little trouble last year, and we needed a lawyer fast. From a bench in the lobby of the police precinct I went on Avvo to look for the best defense lawyer, and Julie's name came up. I called the number (this was maybe 7 am) and got a text and call back from Katie Fernandez i...n less than 5 minutes. We explained what was going on, and she immediately called the precinct to let them know she was representing my stepson and to get more info on his arrest from them. Later that day she was able to get him released to us, and worked to build his defense case. She argued to get the case moved to family court, and ultimately all charges were dropped and his records sealed after a 3 month period with the only condition being that he didn't get into any more trouble. Julie and Katie were fully invested in the best possible outcome for my stepson, even checking in a few times afterwards to see how he was doing. We're so, so happy with the work they did, and can't recommend them enough.

A Great, Attentive Defense Lawyer

I was facing some fairly serious criminal charges and, having never gone through the system and the entire process being entirely alien to me, I was terrified and did not know what to do. I reached out to Julie based on her Avvo reviews and it was one of the luckiest decisions I’ve ever made. I... called her on a Sunday evening with the intention of leaving a voicemail in the hopes she would call me back on Monday. Keep in mind this was shortly after my arraignment and release from the Manhattan Detention Complex and I was in a state of mild panic. To my surprise, she called me back a few minutes later (again, on a Sunday evening) and I got the sense almost immediately that she was the advocate I needed. She spent a lot of time on that first call asking me to walk her through what happened, asking questions to understand more about my overall story, etc., and then giving her initial thoughts and ideas. I never felt as if I was being rushed off the phone, nor was there any pressure or discussion of an agreement, and she patiently and thoughtfully put me at ease simply through her patience, demeanor and obvious expertise. Throughout the entire months-long ordeal, this level of service and advocacy continued. Whenever I had a question, concern, moment of panic, etc., Julie and her associate Kristen were always prompt to reply with answers and advice. I never felt like I was being told what I wanted to hear, but I was comforted by always having the feeling they were being forthright, and were on my family’s and my side. From the beginning, Julie had a sense that her odds were good of securing me a favorable outcome, and she and Kristen did just that: the charges against me were dropped and I’ve been able to put this entire episode behind me. I *fully* recommend the Law Offices of Julie Rendelman to anyone finding themselves on the business end of the criminal justice system in New York.

She is Amazing

"Thank you" is not a strong enough statement to relay the absolute appreciation and gratitude I have for Julie in all of the help she has provided.
