Bad checks

Mr Thomas Blauvelt ... a man of few words.. Very knowledgeable, down to earth and real professional... when I first met him.. he clearly stated the facts and possible outcomes without scaring me. My first impression for him was very good and decided to hire him instantly. Before meeting Thomas, I s...aw 2 other lawyers out of which one lawyer scared me to death and asked for huge fees. I somehow got involved with bad checks and didn't know what would happen since I don't have legal status. Thomas's team in office - Annabella and Elaine were always helpful and answered all questions accurately and also returned each and every call I made. on the day of my court appointment, Mr Thomas discussed my case with the prosecutor and he got the best outcome... I was charged with disorderly conduct and was sanctioned for PTI without affecting me legal status. Aqua also did a great job in the court... I was given a new life by Thomas... even million thanks is not enough for him... if you are looking for a best criminal lawyer, look no further...you have arrived at the right place.. hire Thomas immediately and let him handle your case. If I could, I would give Thomas a million star review

Absolutely Amazing !

I was facing a second DWI, refusal of the Breathalyzer and leaving the scene of an Accident. A total of 4 1/2 years without my license. I was in a very sad place because I work in the auto industry and have to keep a clean license to keep my job. I met with about 5 lawyers before I made the decision... to work with Mr. Blauvelt. He was the only one who was straight up, respected my time and made me feel like a person not a piece of junk, like the others. A true gentleman. After he carefully reviewed all the facts in my case he guided me on the process and when the time came for me to go to court I was very happy and grateful with my outcome. Competent and Honest

When I received a speeding ticket on NJT at 95 in 65 mph zone it ruined my weekend getaway to NY with my wife. No being local to the area I had no time to fight it. So I searched and Mr. Blauvelt's reviews stood tall above others. When I spoke to him he right away made me feel comfortable and CALM... that he can take care of this. 2 months later and 2 court appearances by him only he was able to reduce the charge to a fine and a NO points infraction which was exactly what he said he can do. His prices are very fair and he does not gouge you later to go back to court. I highly recommend him. I only wish he could help in other disciplines as well.

He Dropped 3 of My 4 Traffic Tickets - HIRE HIM!

Like others who mentioned that they had to look at Tom's reviews before they hired him, I was in the same boat. Yes, it does look skeptical for an attorney to have so many positive ratings with no negative reviews. In April 2016 I was pulled over for speeding 40+ over the limit. I did 107 mph on a 65... on I-287 while I was out for a delivery for my job (yes I was stupid). When the NJ state trooper showed up with a long paper that contained my 4 tickets, I was not surprised. NJ State Police is notorious for showing no mercy on any traffic stop. All of the tickets combined equaled to 15 points. In NJ you're only allowed to have 12 points on your license before it gets suspended and since I already had 1 point from last year, I knew I had to hire an attorney. I stood no chance if I went to court alone because of the severity of my tickets. I was charged with reckless driving, speeding 44 mph over, improper passing and unsafe lane change. That same night I went online and searched "best traffic attorney nj" and Thomas showed up first on the list on this website. I looked at his reviews and thought "wow, how could someone be so great?" so I called him despite my skepticism. The moment I called him, he made my worries go away. He kept it real with me and didn't hide anything. He told my possible outcomes and a possible amount of fines I would have to pay. Since his charge to obtain his services was low for a good quality representation (judging from other reviews) I thought "Well, what do I have to lose?" I paid him the amount and he kept me updated until the day of court. A few days ago I had court and Thomas did his magic. What could have been easily a 3 month license suspension and a possible jail sentence got reduced to only a 2-week license suspension and a $289 fine. Tom told me prior to my court appearance that I'd probably pay somewhere around 400-500 dollars but the fine was even lower thanks to him! Also, what could have been an additional 15 points on my license got reduced to 5 points. After Tom talked to the prosecutor for almost 8 long minutes, the judge agreed to drop the other charges if I pleaded guilty to reckless driving. All I can say is, thank you very much Mr. Blauvelt. You saved me from losing my license for 3 months. I can live with a 2 week suspension. If you are reading this, please don't hesitate and call him today. You will be happy with the outcome Tom gets you, and it is true that he fights for any client in court. He is also respected in the courthouse, which is another bonus if you want to win your case or get your charges reduced. Thank you again Thomas :)

Very cool and composed lawyer who speaks less and delivers high

I have hired him for school bus passing violation. I realized this violation is very serious offence and has highest points (5 points) with a possible 15 days community service. This violation is meant to have mandatory court appearance. He sought two new court dates to make him feel comfortable wit...h the facts by acquiring all the necessary videos, witness information etc. After getting convinced he made very good negotiation with the prosecutor and brought down the violation to careless driving, which entitles to two points. The important point here is the court where he represented me was very tough on this particular violation. They usually never scale down this violation. Thanks to Thomas and I strongly recommend him DMV violations.
