Thank you Mr. Blauvelt - follow up on a traffic ticket

Mr. Blauvelt helped me with a serious traffic ticket more than 5 years ago. At that time when I sought his legal representation, he put my fears to ease, was extremely patient with my questions, gave sound legal advise and was able to achieve a successful outcome. Five years down, I recently reached ...out to his office again regarding a question I had about answering a question on a job application that pertained to a background check. I was facing a tight deadline and really needed a fast response. I called his office over the phone and talked to his administrative assistant who was very friendly and courteous. She noted my question and concern, asked me to send an email with the relevant paperwork and promised to print those out for Mr. Blauvelt to review as soon as he got back to his office. She also asked me to email Mr. Blauvelt directly, in parallel. Further more, she commented that since Mr. Blauvelt had represented me in the past (even though it was more than 5 years ago!!!) on the same case, there would be no fees for my question. Sure enough, within a few hours I get a response from Mr. Blauvelt himself with his advise, which I followed, and was able to get the job!! I cannot thank Mr. Blauvelt enough. It is rare for an attorney of his stature to be so responsive to his client's requests

One word - Professional

Attorney Blauvelt is very professional, knowledgeable, and plugged into the legal community. My family and I instantly felt comfortable with our case in his hands. He has a very impressive presence and conveys an honest and professional demeanor. He is very plugged into the legal community and kno...ws many prosecutors and judges. I would highly recommend his services and rate him a perfect 10 for the way our case was handled! Not a single complaint from us.

FANTASTIC - the BEST

Mr. Blauvelt is a trustworthy and reliable man whom certainly knows what he is doing. I presented him with my case and he was able to tell me what the steps we needed to take were and what the probable outcome would be. I ended up leaving the country (legally) well before my hearing and it was up to ...Mr. Blauvelt to represent me and guide me as to what was going on and how he was going to handle everything. I felt more than comfortable leaving the country and my possible future with this matter in his hands. Mr. Blauvelt and his assistant are extremely good at communicating and any questions I had, he responded to immediately via email or phone call. He is very to the point and he says it like it is - this is important because he never left any missing links or made me feel deserted at any time. I am one who likes to ask lots of questions, I am even redundant at times - this never kept Mr. Blauvelt from responding to every question or concern that I had. He always answered and always kept me filled in. The fact that he was on top of everything and in control made me feel like I was in control. Thank you for making this process as stress free as possible, Mr. Blauvelt!

Thomas Carroll Blauvelt represented my son in Court on a criminal case

Thomas Carroll Blauvelt represented my son on a criminal case and thanks to his help and expertise all the charges were dismissed. I can honestly say he is the best lawyer, very knowledgeable, very kind and specially He will make you feel that no matter what the case you are facing , he will do th...e best to help you get the best outcome. Honest, communicative, realistic, but will really fight for you ..excellent legal counsel!!

I was charged with a DUI in Hoboken and this was extra serious for me because it had the potential to really affect my career. I did a lot of research when I was looking for a lawyer because I wanted to make sure to find the best possible lawyer that I could afford. I spoke to many about my case. Mr ...Blauvelt inspired the most confidence in me and was towards the mid to lower end of the price scale (granted still far from cheap) and he had great reviews (such great reviews on here that I was actually skeptical as to whether they were authentic.. but no longer so!) so I hired him. Most of the lawyers I spoke to seemed to immediately talk about how they could probably get my sentence reduced ..I really didn't feel that I was guilty (I won't go into the circumstances of my case but they were very unusual) so I didn't want my sentence reduced.. I wanted to be found NOT GUILTY or have the case thrown out! I fully understood that no lawyer could guarantee that but I wanted them to at least be willing to fight for me and try. I found Mr Blauvelt's manner to be great. He was friendly, didn't just talk without listening, and he took me seriously. It came across right away that he is smart and very experienced and knowledgeable on DUI and traffic law and how the courts in NJ operate. He always showed up in court himself, never sent a replacement (very important to me) and communicating with him was generally fairly easy. Best way was through email and when I would call his assistant would answer and he would usually return my calls within a few hours. He kept me involved and I came away feeling like we were teaming up to take this on rather than handing my case over and hoping for the best. His great manner also extended to the courtroom. He comes across as confident, respected, and experienced and he made me feel less nervous right away. He told me what was going to happen at each court visit and what the likely next step would be. A recommendation I would make to anyone hiring any lawyer: stay involved! Do your own research, read up on similar cases, make recommendations on possible strategies, be honest with your lawyer and discuss it thoroughly. Nobody cares as much about your case as you do (no matter how much you pay them)! So by staying involved and making your own efforts you are also motivating your lawyer to make a strong effort for you. After 4 or 5 court visits the case ended up being thrown out by the prosecutor. Needless to say I am incredibly grateful to Mr Blauvelt!
