Thomas Blauvelt is a fantastic lawyer

I was previously charged with a DWI and with my breathalyzer results I was going to receive 12 months of license suspension along with the hassle of installing an expensive breathalyzer engine initiator into my car. However, after I was recommended to call Mr. Blauvelt and hire him as my lawyer, I t...ook the advice. Tom handled my case exceptionally well and found a way to reduce my suspension to only 3 months and extinguish the necessity of the engine breathalyzer initiator. The fines were unavoidable, but I highly recommend hiring Thomas Blauvelt as a lawyer, he is extremely knowledgeable, informative, and remarkable. Thank you again Tom.

DUI DISMISSED

I was charged with a DUI by NJ State Troopers. I was facing 7 months of license suspension minimum and very expensive fines. Mr. Thomas Carroll was able to go to every court hearing with out any problems. Yesterday was the 6th or 7th time I had to go to court, which resulted in a DISMISSAL because Mr.... Thomas Carroll kept fighting. I highly recommend!! Very straight forward from beginning to end!!

couldnt have asked for a more relatable and incontrol attorney

I highly recommend Attorney Blauvelt ! .. He kept me well informed and seemed very relaxed about the court outcome which inturn gave me a sense of confidence in him and his ability to help me. At the end,... my case was dismissed. He was very easy to relate to and sociable. I really felt as if he t...ried to understand my individual situation and furthermore assured me he will not lay down for an easy outcome,... that he would fight. Highly recommend

On my way in to first day of work at a new job, I had a minor accident on Route 22 in NJ. I pulled over and made sure other driver was okay and shared insurance info with the other driver. Seeing everything was okay and I still had time to make it in on-time to my new job, I left accident site to g...et to work. I suggested the other driver might want to call police to give report. I spoke to the police officer via phone an hour later to give my report. To my surprise, a few days later in mail, I received summons for "leaving the scene of the accident" carrying up to a $2500 fine with loss of license, "failure to report an accident", and "unsafe lane change." Well I knew two of the tickets were wrong since I pulled over, made sure the driver was okay and swapped insurance – I did internet search to checked the statute and found explanation on Attorney Thomas Blauvett's website to see there was no requirement to wait for a police officer to arrive at scene (although after my experience I suggest you always do). I knew there was a police report to vindicate me but I had no idea if that was good enough, I didn't know if I needed witnesses…I basically didn't know how to handle the situation…and I didn't want to lose my license or pay huge fines. I chose Thomas Carroll Blauvett, LLC to represent me after I did search on Nolo.com seeing that he came recommended and had good background handling such cases. With the recommendation and his reasonable fee, the decision was easy. I'm extremely happy with the outcome. Thomas handled all the negotiation with the prosecutor which resulted in dropped charges on the leaving the scene citation and reduced failure to report citation to failure to notify police in a timely manner. He also was able to have the failure to notify judgment sealed which protects me from future insurance claims. I didn't have to do any work other than answer a few simple questions from the judge. The fines were much less than expected and he even swayed judge to reduce one of the fines that may have doubled because the accident happened in safe corridor. I'm glad I made decision to ask Thomas Carroll Blauvett, LLC to represent me.

Knowledgeable attorney handled my matter expeditiously

I had contacted the attorney in December 2018. The office handled the matter effectively. They kept me informed via email and handled what needed to be done with out me contacting them. Office staff is friendly and courteous and answered my questions. I would use them again if I need legal servic...es.
