Great experience, highly recommend!

I was so fortunate to find Tom. I had a series of bizarre events that led my insurance to lapse, and was ultimately pulled over and ticketed. It was how I found out about the lapse! Once I realized I couldn't take this on by myself, I did a lot of research, spoke to a lot of attorneys. I chose To...m and am so glad that I did. I was faced with losing my license for a year, points on my record, and large fines. Tom was forthright, knowledgeable, clear, and above all, very kind. He not only kept me calm and organized for my court date, but the results I got were even better than I hoped: my tickets were reduced to $0, no points on my license, and I paid nothing but court costs. I could not recommend him any higher.

Excellent Experience

Working with Mr. Blauvelt was an great experience. In addition to being very knowledgeable of the law, he is very responsive and trustworthy. While working with him I could feel comfortable going about my day confident that he is performing the necessary due diligence to resolve my case with the best... possible outcome. Edison, NJ - DUI Case

This past April, I was charged with a DUI with 0.18 BAC, failure to maintain lane, reckless driving and driving to close to the vehicle in front of me. In other words, I was pretty much looking at 7 months without my license, an interlocking device hooked up to my car for the following 6 months, fine...s up the wazoo, and I don’t even know how many points on my license. After doing some research online, I found Mr. Blauvelt on avvo.com and was quite impressed with all his positive reviews, especially for DUI/DWI cases. I decided to reach out to him and boy what a smart decision that turned out to be. Instantly, I knew I had picked the “right” lawyer by just the questions he was asking me in the free consultation. Instead of explaining me his fees and the fines I was facing, he was trying to learn about every minute detail of that night, hoping to find any mistake(s) that the state trooper may have done Ultimately, Mr. Blauvelt was able to get my BAC reading removed from my case, dropping my penalty to a much less severe punishment (90 days suspension vs. 7 months suspension + 6 months interlocking device). He and his expert had found an error in the breathalyzer report, which made my reading questionable. In addition, Mr. Blauvelt was able to get my other three tickets dismissed. I high recommend Mr. Thomas Blauvelt not only for his professionalism and expertise, but also for his devotion and willingness to help his clients. Thank you again Tom.

Best Defense Attorney with strong recommendation

I was charged with DWI with 0.16 BAC, Reckless driving, and bunch of other charges. I selected Mr Blauvelt to represent me based on his strong ratings and referral from friends. He comforted me and did a thorough discovery and fought for me vigorously. He would keep me informed about the progress of ...the case at all times. Ultimately Mr Blauvelt was able to take out the reading from the Report and I got a minor sentence compared to what I was expecting. I highly recommend Mr Blauvelt and his professionalism and experience in dealing with complex cases.

The Judge said it was “Magic”!

By the time I got in trouble with the law, a DWI offence, I was confused and afraid of what was going to happen with me. I then scheduled a free consultation with Mr. Thomas Carroll Blauvelt. He immediately stroked me by his positive view of my case. In that first meeting he already started to ask m...e questions about how the police handled my case and how my breath test was taken. He could readily spot flaws in the breath analysis procedure only from what I said. Very important, he was not judgmental about what I did wrong with the law. So I feel quite comfortable exposing my case to him. Suffice to say that I hired him on spot and felt secure that I was being strongly defended. My case pointed to a 7 to 9 months suspension of my driver’s license, but Mr. Blauvelt always kept the positive perspective that my penalties could be ameliorated. And he did his job: with clinic eyes he caught inconsistencies on the police reports and handled an excellent deal with the prosecutor that agreed to let out the breath analysis from my case. Without that I got an attenuated 3 months suspension of my license and the dismissal of one of the accompanying offences. At the end of the Court session even the judge (I tough one) gave compliments to Mr. Blauvelt and literally used the word “Magic” to describe the job that Mr. Blauvelt did for me!
