Thomas works his magic again!

Thomas Blauvelt represented me today during a suspension hearing as I racked up 17 points over several years. I went into the hearing with the expectation of a reduced suspension as Thomas had successfully filed a motion to reopen a previous case which led to 7 points off my license (10 now). Getting... no suspension was basically out of the question in my mind and I was planning for an appeal to delay things and try to get the suspension reduced even more. I was at the hearing with him in Trenton and here is where the importance of having a well known top lawyer really became evident. The gentleman handling our case called us up and talked to Thomas like a familiar friend. I definitely felt more at ease that we would be able to work out a reduced suspension. I was wrong. Thomas managed to get the suspension totally waived! Not even a fine! We all know traffic court is a huge money maker so to get out of there without paying a dime says wonders. It was immediately obvious that the gentleman had respect for Thomas when my previous point reduction was not showing up in the system and he went out of his way even involving his supervisor to get this straightened out while we were there. It would have been much easier and more profitable for him to give me a suspension/fine and tell me to appeal it. Thomas had all the proper notes and records of the previous court date when we had the points reduced. Had I used someone else for that date or gone on my own, my license would be suspended without a doubt. His fees are very reasonable given he is the best of the best. Can you find a lawyer for a few bucks less? Sure. Do I think a budget lawyer would have been able to get me these results? Not a chance. I would bet my license on that! His pricing is right on par for a quality attorney. He takes care of repeat clients as well so honestly a discount run of the mill attorney wouldn't even be a discount. I'm way too familiar with NJ traffic court from representing myself to using discount attorneys to using the best. Don't waste your time or money elsewhere. Everyone knows how important having a license is. With NJ not even having hardship licenses to allow a suspended driver to commute to work and home, these violations are nothing to play around with. When your job, family's well being and life is on the line only the best will do. Thomas, I sincerely thank you for your service, advice, etc. during my past three incidents. You have gained a permanent client. Although hopefully I'll go a little easier on the pedal so you don't have to see me too often!

Mr. Blauvelt went above and beyond

Received a reckless driving and speeding for 100 in a 65. Due to my work schedule, Mr. Blauvelt and his staff were able to execute a rather quick court date appearance on short-notice. He is very familiar with the courts' procedure and personnel, due to his 20 years of experience. Reckless driving wa...s dismissed. Mr. Blauvelt personally responded to email inquiries in a very efficient manner. I received a response at 10pm, he simply went above and beyond. Very grateful to have his representation.

Thomas is the Man! Best Traffic Attorney I Have Used!

Thomas has helped me out with my most recent and past traffic incidents. I hired Thomas initially for a 102 in 65, reckless and improper lane change. It didn't help that I already had about 13 points on my license. He managed to get 2 of the charges thrown out and the speeding ticket reduced so I end...ed up with 4 points instead of 12 and a reduced fine. He also prevented a lengthy suspension and I was only without a license for 20 days. He did a good job overall but this was a pretty cut and dry incident in my mind. Here is where Thomas really shined... We reviewed my driving history and my last stop before this was in 2009. It was a 9 point stop - 5pt tailgating and 4pt speeding. I had moved down to Florida and didn't want to deal with hiring an attorney or going to court at the time so I just plead guilty, paid the fine and took the 9 points. As I did not use a lawyer, nor plea bargain, Thomas filed a motion to reopen the case. The judge granted the request and I just went to court with Thomas. The result was they dropped the tailgating ticket and reduced the speeding ticket to just 2 points - YES 4 YEARS LATER! This was HUGE for me as it took 7 points off my license and should prevent a further suspension at an upcoming hearing. IF YOU PLEAD GUILTY AND DIDN'T PLEA BARGAIN OR USE AN ATTORNEY FOR PAST OFFENSES, CALL THOMAS! I am a pretty picky person and for me to call Thomas "the man" says a lot. His card has a permanent home in my 700 horsepower M3.

Better Outcome Than I Ever Thought Possible

After a night of bad decisions I was charged with a DWI (.21 reading), a 102 mph in a 65 mph zone, and an unsafe lane change. I was extremely scared about what I was facing. I hired Mr. Blauvelt based on reviews like this one and I was not at all disappointed. I've worked with lawyers in the past who... usually would show up to court with me, plead guilty, and happily take my money. Not this time. Mr. Blauvelt fought long and hard for me. Fast forward four months and I had two of the charges dismissed and all readings taken off the record. I plead to the lowest possible DWI charge, which I never thought possible in my situation. I only lost my license for 90 days (as opposed to 12 months), no interlock device, and no points. I never expected to walk out of court with a smile on my face like I did yesterday. If you need an attorney, hire this man.

DUI

WOW!!! I was arrested for DUI (BAC-0.79) in Morris County (Parsippany) and received 5 tickets in all (DUI, reckless, inspection papers, illegal u-turn, headlight not working). It was inevitable that I was going to loose my license for at least a month, if not more. On top of that the constant stress... that I had to deal with was streneous and affecting my work and my body. I checked Mr. Blauvelt's ratings and decided to hire him, even though he comes from 10 counties away (most people go with attorney's from the county they received DUI assuming that their attorney knows everyone). Believe me, apart from that an attorney needs good reputation, and intelligence. Mr. Blauvelt walked in the court, and got everything dismissed. I just paid approximately $500 and got 2 points careless ticket. It was unreal; I could not believe it. On top of this, all other attorneys, including the prosecutor knew him personally. With the amount of experience this man has, it is inevitable that he WILL get you the best outcome possible. Do not worry about where you received a ticket and how severe your crime was. If you need someone trustworthy, experienced, and best outcome - 110% hire him! I strongly recommend Mr. Blauvelt's services.
