A true professional and gentlemen.

Mr. Blauvelt represented me when I received my first DUI. It was the worst mistake of my life and the uncertainty pertaining to my situation was slowly eating me away. Tom was able to always keep me at ease and answered every single one of my emails extremely quickly, no matter what day or time it wa...s. On the day of court, Mr. Blauvelt walked in, reviewed my case files, and spoke with the prosecutor. Within several minutes, the persecutor agreed to lower my suspension period considerably and allowed myself to get my life back on track. The whole process took only 30 minutes and for the first time since getting the DUI, I felt relief and it was all thanks to Tom's incredible services. His reputation, relationship with the prosecutor, and professionalism secured my case's final outcome. The best aspect about hiring Tom was that he treats you like a person, not solely as a client. This gentlemen spoke to me with professionalism and concern, understanding my situation and assuring me that my life and career will still go on as planned. He understood that I was very concerned about my job and made sure that I did not have to take any time off to meet with him or go to court. He went above and beyond to work around my schedule and that in itself is worthy of commendation. He did not have to do that, but did so anyway because he understand his clients' situations. Do not think any of these reviews are exaggerating Tom's experience, he is definitly the best of the best. He listens to any concerns you may have and answers them with honestly and reason and will always fight to give you the best possible outcome. He charges a very modest flat flee, especially seeing just what he was able to get accomplished, and will always be available for any questions and concerns. If you are in a difficult situation that requires a good lawyer, Thomas Blauvelt is hands down the most professional and effective lawyer to hire.

Thomas works his magic again!

Thomas Blauvelt represented me today during a suspension hearing as I racked up 17 points over several years. I went into the hearing with the expectation of a reduced suspension as Thomas had successfully filed a motion to reopen a previous case which led to 7 points off my license (10 now). Getting... no suspension was basically out of the question in my mind and I was planning for an appeal to delay things and try to get the suspension reduced even more. I was at the hearing with him in Trenton and here is where the importance of having a well known top lawyer really became evident. The gentleman handling our case called us up and talked to Thomas like a familiar friend. I definitely felt more at ease that we would be able to work out a reduced suspension. I was wrong. Thomas managed to get the suspension totally waived! Not even a fine! We all know traffic court is a huge money maker so to get out of there without paying a dime says wonders. It was immediately obvious that the gentleman had respect for Thomas when my previous point reduction was not showing up in the system and he went out of his way even involving his supervisor to get this straightened out while we were there. It would have been much easier and more profitable for him to give me a suspension/fine and tell me to appeal it. Thomas had all the proper notes and records of the previous court date when we had the points reduced. Had I used someone else for that date or gone on my own, my license would be suspended without a doubt. His fees are very reasonable given he is the best of the best. Can you find a lawyer for a few bucks less? Sure. Do I think a budget lawyer would have been able to get me these results? Not a chance. I would bet my license on that! His pricing is right on par for a quality attorney. He takes care of repeat clients as well so honestly a discount run of the mill attorney wouldn't even be a discount. I'm way too familiar with NJ traffic court from representing myself to using discount attorneys to using the best. Don't waste your time or money elsewhere. Everyone knows how important having a license is. With NJ not even having hardship licenses to allow a suspended driver to commute to work and home, these violations are nothing to play around with. When your job, family's well being and life is on the line only the best will do. Thomas, I sincerely thank you for your service, advice, etc. during my past three incidents. You have gained a permanent client. Although hopefully I'll go a little easier on the pedal so you don't have to see me too often!

Mr. Blauvelt went above and beyond

Received a reckless driving and speeding for 100 in a 65. Due to my work schedule, Mr. Blauvelt and his staff were able to execute a rather quick court date appearance on short-notice. He is very familiar with the courts' procedure and personnel, due to his 20 years of experience. Reckless driving wa...s dismissed. Mr. Blauvelt personally responded to email inquiries in a very efficient manner. I received a response at 10pm, he simply went above and beyond. Very grateful to have his representation.

Look no further for a GREAT lawyer!

A family member was charged with a DWI and we had no idea what to do. We had no previous experiences with lawyers . I randomly chose Tom Blauvelt and I am so glad I did! At first we didn't see any way out of a bad and hopeless situation and thought the best thing would be to just plead guilty and ...take our lumps. The first thing Tom did for us was to give us that hope that we desperately needed. He calmly took charge, and went to work finding flaws in the breath testing procedures, therefore, flaws in the results of the testing. He skillfully pointed out the weaknesses in other areas of the prosecution. A lesser charge was agreed upon and the dreaded DWI on the driving record was avoided. I would not even consider contacting anyone other that Tom Blauvelt for our future legal needs. I heartily recommend him to family, friends and anyone who finds themselves in need of great legal representation.

Top NJ Lawyer

By far one of the best lawyers in NJ. Experience was apparent from the first consultation and throughout the process. Given that this was the first time I was involved in a legal complaint matter, I was very nervous and worried. However, Mr. Blauvelt answered all my questions and kept me calm. He... was very informative and most importantly, honest. When the court day finally came, he walked in and greeted me. Explained the possible outcomes and assured me everything was going to be fine. Once inside, I was pleased to hear the judge say "Resolved" - "Dismissed" - "Thank you". If you want a great lawyer that gets the job done he is the man to call. Very knowledgeable in a variety of areas.
