Thomas is the man!! I got 3 tickets, including leaving the scene (long story), careless driving and illegal turn, and Tom got all 3 dismissed! Plus he was WAY less expensive than some other lawyers in NJ. Very professional, and always returns calls and texts. Just call him. You won't regret it......

2 DUI charges

I was already convicted on my first DUI charge when I met this lawyer. I had a second DUI charge when I met him. I hired him because of the reviews here. As the second case was going on, I got another DUI case. So this would be my third DUI offense if convicted of both. Long story short , one of the ...cases was drop due to insufficient evidence and the other o received a wreck less driving charge with 3 month lincese suspension. I mean this was the best case scenario. I didn’t do any jail time. This lawyer is excellent and I highly recommend. I did spent a lot of money but I don’t regret anything with the outcome of this lawyer. Sometimes spending the money when you already messed up is the only outcome to bad decisions

Saved life on a tough DUI Case

Saving my life may sound drastic, but you never know how a DUI will impact the rest of your life. However with Tom, a completely CLEAN record from a serious and easy case for the state. After getting stuck in a very tough case of a DUI and numerous other violations, I was distraught about finding the... right lawyer, the perfect lawyer. The case was honestly open and shut for the state in my eyes with the state having blood evidence and a confession. Mr. Blauvelt was the most personable, delicate, and professional lawyer I felt, out of the many I had already consulted with. I asked him to take the case to trial after i was offered a plea deal which would still give me a DUI, and the entire thing took a grueling year of him doing a tremendous amount of work and dedicating his time and energy at no extra cost than the prefixed rate. At the end of it, he was able to get the entire case dismissed, resulting in an absolutely clean record. It was not something I expected at all, having been offered a plea deal even by the prosecutor I was ready to take, but something he delivered. Mr. Blauvelt is dedicated to his clients and his work, and will work tirelessly for you to get the best conclusion possible. You will never question your judgement choosing him, and will feel protected by such an amazing lawyer.

Top Notch Attorney

Thomas Blauvelt is a life saver to put it mildly! I truly cannot thank Thomas and his dedicated team enough (Jackie, Anabella, & Nicole). I was incredibly nervous after being arrested on multiple traffic violations: DUI, 2 Refusal to Submit charges along with several traffic violations. I googled top... DUI attorneys in NJ, looking for the best and thankfully found him. On my very first call with Thomas I explained my situation; fearing the worst and he calmly assured me that everything was going to work out. Thomas and his team kept an open line of communication with me from start to finish. Thomas appeared in court countless times on my behalf at no extra charge until we achieved the results I did not even think were possible! Thomas’s in depth knowledge and expertise are not only impressive but life changing. In the end, Thomas was able to get both Refusal charges dismissed along with several other tickets and I only ended up receiving a minuscule fine and 90 day suspension of driving privileges.
