Great Attorney

Thomas is an excellent attorney. He has years of experience and I actually heard a judge say to a defendant that "you are lucky to have Mr. Blauvelt as an attorney. He is excellent and you would not have gotten such a good deal with someone else". Literally, word for word. I've never heard a judge pr...aise a lawyer in that manner. Other attorneys respect him as well. I ran into my brother's old attorney in Elizabeth. He recognized me and asked me if I had a lawyer. I told him I had Tom and he backed off with the utmost respect.

By FAR, the BEST lawyer in New Jersey

There are good lawyers, there are great lawyers and then there is Mr. Blauvelt. He stands in a class of his own as by far the BEST lawyer I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I have hired him twice, and both times he handled my cases better than I could have ever thought possible. My fir...st case was for a major traffic violation and the other was for narcotics. He handled both cases extremely professionally and always made me feel like I could completely trust him. The traffic violation should have caused me to lose my drivers license and a very hefty fine. He worked it out to only a minimal fine which I gladly paid and I did not lose my license at all. The other case was much more serious, a third degree felony drug case which could have landed me in prison plus a Very significant fine. Mr. Blauvelt worked on my case for over a year and he was able to get my case completely dismissed!!! I almost couldn't believe it when he told me. If you reading this you are very likely in a pretty bad way. What you want is an attorney who will do anything and everything possible to truly help you with the best legal representation there is. I know that if I ever need legal advise in the future there is only one person worth calling, Thomas Carol Blauvelt. Thank you again for everything.

OUT OF STATE CASE- DWI CASE DISMISSED

Tom got my case dismissed and I did not even have to appear in court! He is very knowledgeable and always kept me informed about my case and any time I had a question he answered it very quickly! I did not know where to begin to get this matter resolved, but after talking with Tom and giving him my... information, he handled everything for me without any problems. I would highly recommend Mr. Blauvelt to anyone needing help with a DWI case. Give him a call- you will not be sorry!!

OUT OF STATE DUI/DWI

Words cannot express the gratitude I have for Mr. Blauvelt. I was charged with DUI and driving with a suspended license over 15 years ago in Burlington County; around the same time I was ticketed for driving an unregistered vehicle as well as no proof of insurance in Bergen County, Because of my earl...ier career in the military I traveled quite a bit throughout the nation as well as abroad and had no need of a drivers license, a change in career paths led me to settle down and that's when my nightmare began. My driving privileges had been revoked. I tried calling the courts to try and fix things on my own but they informed me that I had warrants for my arrest, that I needed to post bail, and that I had to appear in court. I started calling attorneys in the state where I currently live for advise without any luck. I started searching online for attorneys in NJ and came across the Avvo website and read Mr. Blauvelt's reviews; which were amazing; but I refrained from calling because I thought he might be too expensive (big mistake), I continued searching online and called around for free consults over the phone but the fees the attorneys were charging were way out of my reach. I thought to myself what could I lose if I called one more, I left a message for Mr. Blauvelt and he returned my call the same day, I believe it was a Saturday. I explained that I could not travel to NJ to settle these matters in person at court, he told me he would do his best to accommodate me, then the big question... How Much? I was amazed that despite his Awesome reviews his fee was so reasonable. He e-mailed me a contract I signed it and faxed it back that same day. I was informed of the progress for each case, and whenever I had questions Mr. Blauvelt would return my calls the same day. NOW FOR THE RESULTS: ALL CHARGES WERE DISMISSED (paid a small fine to both courts). I DID NOT HAVE TO BE PRESENT AT EITHER OF THE COURTS, AND I NOW HAVE MY DRIVING PRIVILEGES RESTORED. Like I said: WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS THE GRATITUDE...

DWI case in Hoboken

I was charged with DWI in Hoboken about 3 months ago. I had no clue who to hire but came across Toms name on this site. I had four tickets in all one of them being the DWI, blew a .08. My case ended today and the DWI was dropped along with a school zone ticket. I live in NY and my license got sus...pended for 6 months in NJ only, which I was fine with as long as the DWI was dropped. I was very happy with Toms professionalism. He kept me posted as to where we stand in the case and assured me we were going in the right direction. Thomas Blauvelt was a true professional. If you have a case in NJ and need a lawyer who you can count on Thomas Blauvelt is the guy you want to hire. Thanks again Tom for everything.
