Just call him for your DUI needs already - or read below and decide

I was a NY Driver pulled over for a DUI in Sayreville, NJ by NJ State Police. I performed 5 FST's before being placed under arrest and taken in where I blew a .13. I was facing probable 7 month suspension (which would transfer to NY as well) and high fines. In NJ there is ZERO plea bargaining for ...DUI. I called 7 lawyers, received 7 consultations and never once felt like I found the "right" lawyer, just bored people looking for an easy check in their pocket. I found Tom via this website and honestly thought it was a scam site since he had so many good reviews. I actually called one of the lawyers listed as an endorser and he said "you are choosing the best of the best - tell him I say hello". I called Tom and he told me how he loves State Police cases since they tend to overlook things. The thing with DUI's in NJ is you need to find the hole in the case - and pick away at it until there's nothing holding your case firm - then you get the prosecutor or Judge to cut back the charge or at best, dismiss it. No one else told me this. I asked him how much. His cost was so much more reasonable than the others that I actually called back and asked if that was only half. Throughout the case, I had a ton of questions - Tom would email me back sometimes within minutes of my emails - if not than within the hour. I had THREE different phone numbers to contact him at. He led me through step by step what his plan is, and what his backup plan is. He didn't mind repeating himself to me or explaining it to me more deeply so I could understand it better. This man is passionate about what he does - he knows the law like no other - he knows how to find the hole in the case and pick away at it until it falls apart. This man is good - real good. My DUI was dismissed due to lack of evidence - State Police never provided requested evidence. Tom took that base hit turned it into a Home Run. Your mileage may vary - there may be a rock solid case against you and for that no lawyer in the State can help you. But if you want the best shot, Tom is the one you want.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I would definitely recommend Mr. Thomas Blauvelt! I received a DWI and was looking at a 7-12 month license suspension and automatic interlock in my car. He met with me and explained everything thoroughly. Any questions I had he answered very clearly. He requested my discovery and video footage ...from the police station. He was at every court date on time and 100% ready. If I had any further questions and needed to contact him he would respond in a very quick and timely manner. I ended up getting a 7 month license suspension and no interlock in my car. Mr. Blauvelt is definitely not a lawyer who just wants to take your money. If you want a lawyer that will do his very best he is the one!

the bow tie, knows law

If your looking for a top notch, well respected , professional lawyer, well I have to say you shouldn't look any further. I can only speak from my experience, of which is heart wrenching enough, tom was with me every step of the way. Not knowing the legal system I had a lot of questions. As I searc...hed for a lawyer, I heard war stories of how lawyers acted towards clients and I was very cautious. I met with a few, and the bottom line was, I have to trust my freedom with this man. Tom was the last I met, he was forth coming, honest, and by far the most reasonably priced. Granted his office isn't the best, he was late, and later found out has to drive very fast all day. I also found out its because he has a pretty good work load. This man has a passion, and its the law, he knows it in and out and believe me, I had a strange case, if he doesn't know it, he finds out very quickly. When in the court house, tom is very well respected, and my particular judge thought the world of him, although that is important in a criminal case the respect came from how thorough he is. The bottom line is tom dots his i's and crossing his t's..do yourself a big favor, stop looking, you've found the lawyer who will guard your freedom in the most professional way possible.. jim

An excellent DUI/DWI attorney - very smart, experienced and responsive

Thomas was great. He explained all of the options in my DUI and speeding case. He recommended a talented DUI consultant who reviewed my case and found testing device errors and inconsistencies. Thomas kept me in the loop at all times and was very responsive, within minutes, to every question I had.... The DUI was dropped in the case by the judge, and I was very satisfied with the outcome. Thomas is a great attorney and very knowledgable not only with the entire array of municipal court statutes proccesses and procedures but also superior court matters. You can rely on Thomas to find the most cost effective method of disposing of your matter without the hidden or additional attourney f...ees. Thomas was very well known and respected in the municipal courts where he represented me and it made a difference as the prosecutor and Judge were willing to play ball.
