Excellent Attorney; Hire Mr. Blauvelt Immediately!

Retained service of Mr. Blauvelt for a domestic violence allegation that ultimately went to trial. Don't even look at another attorney if you're in the unfortunate position where you need representation. Mr. Blauvelt is an attorney that will go to bat for you in the courtroom. He is extremely pro...fessional, listens to what you have to say, provides honest feeback to possible outcomes, and above all else knows his law. Best Lawyer in town

I asked Mr Blauvelt to represent for me in my dui case. This is my second time and just like the first, Mr Blauvelt knew what he was doing and explained to me very clearly what was going to happen or what I have to do in every step of the way. The Attorney for the Job!

I first contacted Attorney Blauvelt in a panic because I had just had an awful experience and my home, career, license and all-around livelihood were all on the line. I am an out-of-state resident and I was charged in NJ, not only with DWI, Refusal and Reckless Driving charges but I was also charged ...with Eluding Police, a felony offense. What made matters worse is that, as time went on, the prosecution upgraded my charge from a third degree felony to a second degree felony which carried a possible 5-10 year sentence. I had never been criminally charged with anything before and things were not looking good. I called around to a few other law offices and I was told on more than one occasion that it was highly likely that I would be facing SOME sort of jail time and their goal was to keep jail time at a minimum. I did not accept that as an answer. I contacted Mr. Blauvelt, who never made any promises but was always upfront in his dealings with me. He made suggestions for strategies I needed to do in order to improve the chances for my case and I took his advice each time. My application for PTI was turned down the first time but he fought to have the prosecution reconsider. After 16 months and several status court dates, I finally was able to get my charges resolved. I was allowed in the PTI program for the felony eluding charge. The most serious driving charge (DWI) was dismissed as well as the reckless driving charge. I made a well-informed decision to plead guilty to just the refusal, which carried no jail time and no criminal record. I had a lot to lose and I am so glad I decided to go with Mr. Blauvelt. He was always responsive if I needed to just sort things out and ask questions regarding my case. Lastly, his fees are extremely reasonable for the service he provides in comparison to other firms. He's not some big firm with dozens of lawyers shuffling your file around. It's just him. He knows the ins and outs of his clients' cases and he works for as long as is required to get the desired outcome. Highly, highly recommended.

Speeding Ticket

I would like to commend Attorney Thomas Blauvelt and their offices. I hired Atty Thomas for a speeding ticket summons that i received. Thank you Mr. Blauvelt - follow up on a traffic ticket

Mr. Blauvelt helped me with a serious traffic ticket more than 5 years ago. At that time when I sought his legal representation, he put my fears to ease, was extremely patient with my questions, gave sound legal advise and was able to achieve a successful outcome. Five years down, I recently reached ...out to his office again regarding a question I had about answering a question on a job application that pertained to a background check. I was facing a tight deadline and really needed a fast response. I called his office over the phone and talked to his administrative assistant who was very friendly and courteous. She noted my question and concern, asked me to send an email with the relevant paperwork and promised to print those out for Mr. Blauvelt to review as soon as he got back to his office. She also asked me to email Mr. Blauvelt directly, in parallel. Further more, she commented that since Mr. Blauvelt had represented me in the past (even though it was more than 5 years ago!!!) on the same case, there would be no fees for my question. Sure enough, within a few hours I get a response from Mr. Blauvelt himself with his advise, which I followed, and was able to get the job!! I cannot thank Mr. Blauvelt enough. It is rare for an attorney of his stature to be so responsive to his client's requests
