The judge took all of his suggestions as to how to move the case along with experts and others. He has a lot of uncommon sense that people find refreshing. Everyone knows he has a deep source of knowledge and it can be very intimidating and he can toss out legal authority like nobody's business. He lives this stuff. At the conclusion, Mr. Romanowski told the judge that he didn’t have much of a closing statement because the judge was obviously following along. On the other hand, my wife’s lawyer insisted on reading from a prewritten statement that took him over 45 minutes on a Friday to read. Amateur vs Professional. Adversary actually complained that there was no video in the courtroom we ended up in because he wanted to show his scripted closing argument to his girlfriend. He had to be in his late 60s at the time.

He’s a merciless cross-examiner. He’s so brilliant and has such a super memory that my husband didn’t realize he was getting increasingly more trapped in his testimony.
