I've dealt with Real Estate attorneys in the JC area for about 12 years now. She takes the cake, she was egregiously boastful about her ability to win. She ended up losing because of her overconfidence and condescending demeanor with the prosecutor. In the end she still won because she got my $50...0 up front. She is extremely rude, and not worth the fees she gets (upfront).

The phone consultation is not free! I spoke to her about my case for 10 minutes. I should had known. The first time I spoke to her she seemed rude and short. We spoke for 10 minutes about my case. Then I told her that I would get back to her. She then said that she would bill me $75 because I too...k her advice. I said I wasn't going to take her advice, but that thank you. She then hanged up on me! and left me midsentence. I was trying to ask her how she would bill me. And how come a consultation of 10 minutes was $75. I have never dealt with someone so unprofessional.

This is a lawyer that doesn't know the law, cannot and donot review a document, cannot consantrate on a conversation, extremely disorganized, comes to court with absolutely zero preparation, blames everybody else for her failures, and has the nerve to be abusive and charge his customers excessively f...or losing court cases. Disaster from whichever angle you look at it; absolutely nothing positive with this lawyer. I have been a head of a large business for over 30 years, worked with many lawyers on various corporate law issues and countless business agreements - never I was encountered with someone so clueless about her profession until I met Roberta Tarkan.

I had an extremely traumatic experience with Roberta. Not only did I find them inefficient but I also found them unruly and abusive (sic). They have been apt at manipulating and creating intense friction between me and the other parties involved. By the time I figured out that they were the ones crea...ting the problems and not the other parties I had lost a good deal of health, time, money and good will. I lost around ten grand before I quit and prevented further losses.
