After reading the good reviews online I decided to use the firms services, and presenting my case to Michael. He told me multiple times that I have a strong case, and he left a good impression so I have decided to trust him and use his services. I have spent a lot of money and time (several months...), I asked him for an update regarding the lawsuit over an email with no response. And then, came his vacation, his classes that he teaches, and other errands that prevented him from responding to me, yet not from charging of course. Finally after reaching him over the phone (few months into the case) he has reminded to tell me that the lawsuit that he charged me for several months is not his field of expertise. Meaning he legally cannot represent me which is the reason for hiring him in the first place. When I asked him why didn't you tell me that its NOT YOUR FIELD OF PRACTICE! Why did you take my case! YOU WASTED MY TIME AND MONEY! He argued that we should agree to disagree and blew me off. Beware from his opinions! Hiring him requires another lawyer to check that he is doing is job right!

I hired Michael a week after a real estate deal went south...way south. This transactions was part of a marital settlement agreement (MSA) from a divorce and quite complex. What I appreciated about Michael was not only his professional expertise and honesty, but his empathy. He knew how emotionally ...taxing this process was and never once took advantage of it. Where others might have used that to bill up hours, he did the opposite and kept me grounded. Michael protected my interest throughout the process while advancing negotiations with the other party. His knowledge of the law and structuring deals is impressive to say the least. It's rare to find someone so passionate about their work and who cares about the wellbeing of their clients; Michael is that person. I would happily recommend Michael to any friend or family member and will definitely use him in the future.

I hired Mike as the Buyer's attorney for an investment condo in Jersey City. My first time buying a condo. He was extremely responsive, knowledgeable, professional and puts the interest of his clients first (at least in my case). Fees were reasonable and clearly stated with no surprises. Never had to... go through a "middle person" (receptionist) to get a hold of him. Always answered phone calls and e-mails the same day (sometimes after work hours). I was amazed at the amendment to the contract he came up with after the attorney review. However, the deal didn't go through due to some factors out of our control but Seller and his attorney refused to return my initial good faith deposit. They wanted me to pay $1,000. Long story short, Mike fought very hard for me and spent so much time (much more than he would spent if the deal went through) and finally, after one and a half months, they agreed to return my deposit (this was after they lowered the amount to $500 but we didn't give in). Mike didn't charge me anything extra despite so many frustrating hours were put into this matter. I will definitely hire him again and highly recommend him to anyone who's looking for an experienced attorney.
