I hired Mike as the Buyer's attorney for an investment condo in Jersey City. My first time buying a condo. He was extremely responsive, knowledgeable, professional and puts the interest of his clients first (at least in my case). Fees were reasonable and clearly stated with no surprises. Never had to... go through a "middle person" (receptionist) to get a hold of him. Always answered phone calls and e-mails the same day (sometimes after work hours). I was amazed at the amendment to the contract he came up with after the attorney review. However, the deal didn't go through due to some factors out of our control but Seller and his attorney refused to return my initial good faith deposit. They wanted me to pay $1,000. Long story short, Mike fought very hard for me and spent so much time (much more than he would spent if the deal went through) and finally, after one and a half months, they agreed to return my deposit (this was after they lowered the amount to $500 but we didn't give in). Mike didn't charge me anything extra despite so many frustrating hours were put into this matter. I will definitely hire him again and highly recommend him to anyone who's looking for an experienced attorney.

I was thinking of hiring a contractor to renovate and expand my prior residence. I called Mr. Schonberger to discuss the pros and cons of doing the work on my house vs. buying a new, larger house. Mr. Schonberger provided keen insight and demonstrated an in depth understanding of the area I was livin...g in as well as what was available on the market. He provided numerous examples of why my inclination to renovate was ill-conceived. In the end, I sold my house, using Mr. Schonberger's services and purchase a new house, again using Mr. Schonberger's services. It was the best decision I ever made. We have used his services on two occasions. Mr. Schonberger handled the sale of our residence in Lawrenceville a few years ago. He also assisted us in the purchase of investment property in Pennington which successfully closed in late December of 2013. At all times, in both instances, we have found M...r.
