I found myself in a civil case that went political as per my first lawyer. Mr. Mark was retained to help me prove that I was wrongly accused of a VOP in Essex County. The entire probation board was insistent I had never even shown up once, did not do all I had been sentenced to, & had incarcerated me for this 8 years later. Originally the judge didn't even want to release... me after I'd done a month waiting to see him. Mr. Mark was able to convince the judge to give me a chance to gather the proof I needed to prove my innocence, as well as return to my child, whom would've been left without childcare , opening a much bigger can of worms. Once we reconvened, the proof we had was vast & the probation board still was insistent on subpoenaing former PO's & that I was at fault. Mr. Mark calmly waited for our rebuttal & submitted the paperwork & once he made sure the judge had reviewed it in it's entirety, the judge terminated the case & realized I had indeed simply not been documented properly in the system. I had been facing a worse sentence & have cancer & would've been in serious jeopardy had he not known how to approach the judge in the right manner & at the right time. I am only grateful for his expertise & would highly recommend him.
