While traveling upstate NY for vacation on NYS Thruway, I received a ticket for failing to move all the way over to left lane while a trooper was giving a ticket to another motorist. Trooper was in his car with no lights on, but did not matter. I didn't even know of this law(it is fairly recent), but... he gave me the "ignorance is no excuse" speech. Have not had a ticket in 34 years so I hired the Rosenblum firm. Ticket had max fine of $380 and 3 points. They thought they could plea it down, but they actually got it dismissed!!!! What a great job and I HIGHLY recommend using their firm if you get a ticket. They went well beyond my expectations. i had a speeding ticket that demanded a Court appearance.. no fine imposed at the time..( there is a reciprocity agreement with Ontario for speeding fimes and demerit points)- I called the FIRM- got a quick and informative response- paid $ 500.00 for them to handle the case.. waited- got a notice tha...t i was granted 0 demerit points and it cost another $175.00. i am happy -
