Ineffective Attorney

I hired Attorney Gerace to represent me in a criminal matter. Gerace handed my case over to his associate, Jeremy Donnelly, who was inexperienced at best, and did a poor job of representation. He waited too long in filing my appeal and therefore the appeal was denied. Another of my claims was deni...ed by the appellate court because Attorney Donnelly failed to bring up the matter at my original hearing. Attorney Gerace also refused to provide me with transcripts of my hearings for which I had paid, until I filed a complaint with the grievance committee. Attorney Gerace greatly overcharged me for his services, lied on several occasions, and failed to keep me informed of developments.. Do yourselves a favor and hire another attorney.

Gerace is the man

Life will have bumps on the road. I happened to hit a pot hole. I was involved in a situation over a year ago with heavy charges, I was going to have go to jail for an extensive amount of time. I have put heavy burdens on my family and my business will never be the same if I was gone. Court was... always nerve wrecking and nervous. Attorney Gerace was always there, he kept me calm all the time. In his office, Attorney Paolino, Melissa, and Kurlene was always there to helped me. With the help of attorney Gerace and his staff, I was able to get away with a minimal sentence and get back to my family and business. I trust Gerace and Associates will continue to provide excellent legal services to those in need. To those in need of legal service, Gerace is the man

Unbelievable!!!

I hired William Gerace for a criminal offense. After going to court for months, he never remembered my name. I was really surprised when we stood outside of the courthouse and he said that he could get me AR (plead guilty to a felony), but I had to remind him that I had a prior; then he suggested Al...ford Docket that I didn't have to admit guilt (again, plead to a felony); and finally I had to remind him of our first conversation that I was innocent of this offense and was not going to plead to a crime in which I did not commit. He finally said,” Would you plead a misdemeanor”? This conversation lasted about 3 to 4 minutes. It was like I was negotiating with a prosecutor himself. He knew (before the conversation started) that I could plead only to the misdemeanor, then why did he start with wanting me to plead to a felony twice if he knew the prosecutor was accepting the misdemeanor??? I was very disappointed.
