Without closing this informational asymmetry between you and your adversary, you are not going to be able to know what to do and, after the fact, if you made the right play or not. I am convinced getting solid information and advice in the beginning will save you far, far more in the long run. I know it has for me and Josh helped me get there. The added bonus is that now I don't wonder and worry about what they can or will do or what will happen or if I did the right thing or not, because I know. I know where I stand, what they can and cannot do, the limits of their real capabilities (quite different from what they'd like you to believe), and have a plan going forward.
