Joshua was really great up front and had a lot of optimism. However, he failed to help in any material way with the rehabilitation of my student loans and after the initial consultation he was essentially impossible to get a hold of. He also attempted to coerce me into executing legal and financial s...trategies that I clearly informed him I was incapable of (including a 20% "down payment" on my remaining loan balance to get future discounts). He's a really nice guy on the surface but his competency is questionable. FINALLY, HE LOWKEY PRESSURES ALL OF HIS CONSULTS TO WRITE GOOD REVIEWS RIGHT AFTER CONSULTATION. I DID!!!! SO BE CAREFUL ABOUT THIS 4-5 STAR RATING, IT MAY BE SPECIOUS. MANY MANY THUMBS DOWN FOR THIS INCOMPETENT ATTORNEY.

So to start, I never even got to the consultation itself. And that's because Josh told me, based on my requests and my situation, there wasn't much that could be done. He offered to go over my loans and provide other general advice. But since my question had been answered, I declined. He then refunde...d my fee. I'm overgeneralizing a bit, but honestly I never expected to get my money back. Josh could have easily looked over my file, taken the consultation, told me the same thing in 30 seconds, and kept the fee. But he didn't! And that's what makes him a great person and worth every penny you might pay for his services. Because now you know that he'll only work with you if he thinks he can really make an impact in the areas you need him. 10/10 would recommend

I would absolutely recommend Attorney Cohen for anyone with student loan questions. Going to college and then graduating with debt is far too common, plus information around loans is so convoluted and confusing. I feel much more comfortable with my situation knowing that I am doing everything that I ...can to pay off my loans in the best way possible.

Joshua was very informative. He answered all of our questions. I talked to many people to try to help my situation and got no help at all. I even talked to a few lawyers that didn’t give us the advice that he gave us . Joshua leaves no stones unturned . You can tell he knows what he’s talking about. ...It was well worth the consultation fee . I should of called him a lot sooner.
